Spurred by the wealth of data being fed from the Inquisitors infiltrating inside the Collective ranks, information on the Collective spread like a natural contagion throughout the Dark Brotherhood. Even without his presence, it seemed, Marick Tyris’ organization of the Inquisitorius’ network had been effective . The Voice was proving himself to be the asset that Pravus had bet on long ago.

Members passed information to one another in hushed tones, data files were sent between Clans, and Jedi and Sith alike were notified of Rath Oligard’s intent to extinguish the flame of the Force from the galaxy. The seven Clan Consuls, some operating in unison and others operating independently, issued a series of orders and contingency plans to their fleets.

Freshly repaired from the battle against the Suffering, renown capital ships Invicta II and Solari calculated their jumps to lightspeed. The Ascendency and the other prestigious flag ships of the remaining Clan’s forces leapt into hyperspace, ready to serve as vanguard forces for the war that was to come. The members of the Clans rushed towards the chance to fight under their own banners and the opportunity to fight an opponent that was not one of their own.

Their sense of urgency was driven by the countless conflicting reports that indicated the Collective’s base of operations on Nancora possessed a threat that loomed larger than the combined efforts of the Dark Brotherhood’s greatest enemies of the past. The Technocratic Guild was reportedly in the possession of a weapon capable of immeasurable power. Some Clans received reports that the Collective had uncovered ancient Sith mysteries that the Grand Master believed were a pathway to never before seen power, while others had received information that they had engineered a biological pathogen that targeted the cells of those gifted with the power to harness the Force. Others still came to the realization that the massive Collective fleet was regrouping from its most recent excursions and would be vulnerable to a first strike when they least expected it.
