Hello all,

In discussing plans with Selika Roh (Slagar) and the future of the Herald Office, he has decided that he has completed what he set out for in his time in the role he is ready to move onto other things. As such, in this post, I will open applications for the position of Herald and share my thoughts.

He took on the role as Mav took on Grand Master, and while I had been aware of Slagar for some time and had worked with him off and on in different capacities it was the first time we were on the same team on the Dark Council. I've enjoyed his attention to detail in things, and his ability to really explain why when he disagrees with something. There's a big difference between constructive criticism and just criticism, and in projects where I got his input, I definitely made better decisions where his voice was included in things I've been working on.

So thank you Slagar for your contributions to the Herald office and the Dark Council. I hope everyone else can share their appreciation as well for your leadership and work.

Herald Applications

With the above in mind, I am opening applications for Herald with this news post and leaving them open for a little over 2 weeks. So please have applications emailed to me by March 12th, I plan to take some time the weekend following to review any applications received to choose the best candidate to replace our current Herald. I will share these applications with whoever ends up being my DGM as well.

Some things I'm looking for, and to consider:

• Requirements of the position on the wiki linked here
• Strong leader of the team of artists on the Herald staff, managing the workload
• Talent as an artist, not the most talented but a grasp and understanding of what is involved in art is important
• Ability to work as a member of the Dark Council, providing input into a range of projects (especially where the Brotherhood graphics are involved) as well as Vendettas
• Note any relevant Brotherhood experience you have
• Discuss your views on the Herald office and what you think could be done better, or what's working today
• Link to some examples of your art
