Hello DJB Members,

Week 1 of the Haiku series that Tra'an Reith di Plagia, Kordath Bleu, and myself started running has completed!

Normally I wouldn't have sent out a news post on this series until the halfway point, but I wanted to highlight this first week of the competition.

This series ran last year, and it was a huge success! Our highest week participation for that 12 week period was 19 members, and the unique participant total over the whole twelve weeks was 33!

The reason for this post is that I wanted to thank the members of the DJB who participated this week and brought us to a grand total of 36 participants!

When we saw this number we were blown away! I had hoped to beat the numbers set by last year, I never expected it to happen the first week!

We also want to congratulate the top three placements of this week.

In first place, we had a tie!

Raider Qyreia Arronen of Clan Arcona!

and

Warrior Tahiri Drakon Night-Thorn of Clan Tarentum!

In third place we had

Adept Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae of Clan Arcona!

Congratulations you three!

Every facet of the DJB came out for this event:

• Clan Arcona had 9 participating members!
• Clan Naga Sadow had 5 participating members!
• Clan Odan Urr had 3 participating members!
• Clan Plagueis had 7 participating members!
• Clan Scholae Palatinae had 3 participating members!
• Clan Taldryan had 4 participating members!
• Clan Tarentum had 2 participating members!
• 2 members of the Dark Council participated!
• and 1 member from the Rogues participated!

We are very grateful for the support we have received so far and can't wait to see the poems that we continue to receive in the upcoming weeks.
