Some of the more eagle eyed amongst you may have already caught the fact that I had appointed two new Magistrates from the pool of applications that I received in the form of Rian Taldrya and Kano Tor Tydex, though I had held off on a formal announcement until some other staffing issues could be resolved. I do want to welcome them to the staff and thank everyone that applied. Don't be disheartened if you weren't selected this time around, as everything is cyclical and I know those posts will always be there at some point!

As I alluded to above, there was another staffing issue that had reared its ugly, RL shaped head for one of my staff: Idris (aka Xen) has recently started graduate school. He and I both collectively decided that it would probably be better for all concerned if he stepped back to a Magistrate position given the demands on his time. I would like to thank Xen profusely for his service as Praetor as he is one of the best and most productive staffers I've ever had the privilege to serve with. That left me in the tough spot of having to try to find a replacement, but luckily for me one came sauntering in from the recently-Rogued membership pool in the shape of Bale Andros, better known as Cyris. Cy's no stranger to the Herald Office, having held every position and having worked on my staff earlier this year. So, congratulate the man on his new appointment and make sure to let him know the beers are on him!
