A steady metronome radiated through the entire stadium. Anyone gathered who appreciated the spectacle that was about to unfold joined in. Boots stomped the ground twice in a simple salvo, followed by open palms crashing together.

Boom. Boom. CLAP!

The Journeyman champion would stand as a beacon to the future of the Brotherhood's upcoming warriors. Members and leaders from across the Brotherhood had come to witness the event. Those that were unable to attend were able to tune in on the holo feeds being broadcast over all Brotherhood channels. Clan Scholae Palatinae, lead by Consul Xen'Mordin Vismorsus-Palpatine (first of his name), made up most of the attendees, with Consul Locke Sonjie and his Proconsul Sanguinius headlining Naga Sadow, accounting for the other majority.

While other units had sent representatives or allowed their younger members to attend, the only presence truly lacking was that of Clan Odan-Urr. Their Proconsul had claimed victory in the last tournament, but it had all been a smokescreen for the eventual invasion and eradication of New Tython. Yet still, the show went on.

Drones flitted around the perimeter of the arena, optical lenses whirring as they zoomed in and out and transmitted alternating feeds to the large-scale monitors on either side of the colosseum.

Below, Blade Ta’var and Aul Celsus made their way down the corridors on opposite ends of the Colosseum. The metronome grew louder and louder as it reverberated off the domed walls.

Boom. Boom. CLAP!

Above, Darth Pravus sat center in the observation dias. Adept Montresor sat beside him, as well as a set of Royal Guardsman at either side. Inquisition agents were dispersed throughout the audience, wary of any kind of interference. Alaris Jinn had been invited to the dias as well, overseeing the final fruit of his labor. The Combat Master had returned to the control center underground, ready to oversee the operation of the venue’s dynamic obstacle generation system.

The Grand Master rose and lifted his hands, the links of his plated armor clinking faintly. Angular and pristine, the metal glistened in the blazing sun burning overhead. One hand raised, but the en metronome continued to drum on.

Boom. Boom. CLAP!

Boom. Boom. CLAP!

Arcanist against Marauder. Zeltron against Human. The differences between them, their origins, and their orders all fell away. When both finalists stepped out of their respective entrances, they were simply warriors set to leave their mark in the sands of history.

The crowd burst into a bloodthirsty roar, each shouting and hooting for their chosen champion. Whether it was support from clanmates, or those who had placed bet, everyone in the stadium that had gathered was prepared for a show.

“Begin,” the Grand Master announced in a steady voice that, while spoken in a regular tone, resonated throughout the entire colosseum like a commandment.

Final Combat - Fight!

And so it beings. The Finals are taking place in the same arena that the combatants in the Grand Master’s Invitational Tournament fought in. The finalists are well versed on the rules per the competition details..
