Greetings all,

A few things to mention this time: A change in staffing, an alteration to an existing course and a new course for the novitiate hall (and other interested parties).

As this is an update and not a report, let me just list these for you all:

1. Staff change

As some may be aware, Landon Cruise retired as M:MAA early in september. He remained – dutifully – Docent of the Leadership Competitions course until a few days ago. Landon, on behalf of the Headmaster and the rest of the Staff, thank you for your dedicated service. As is his prerogative, the Master-At-Arms has appointed Kelly Mendes, his new M:MAA, as Docent of this course. Welcome to the SA, Kelly. The position of grader of this course, along with several other courses, are not open for applications. The relevant DCer appoints someone from his Staff to oversee it.

2. Course alteration

A minor addition was made to Leadership Competitions last week. A segment relating to feedback was added to the notes. The exam remains unchanged. Props to Xantros, professor of this department for creating this addition.

3. New Course

The FIST, in cooperation with his Praetor and the Seneschal have been working on introducing a gaming bot to the DJB. This bot was introduced during the summer. The SA is proud to announce a new Novitiate Hall course: Gaming 102: Fist-o-matic. Props to Ernordeth and the FIST for creating this new course. PS: This course is now available for students.
