Hello!

As I am sure you have noticed by now, Season 1 Parabellum will go live at site turn over on Feb 3rd. Some of you may recall Atra’s previous announcements and mentions of possessions relating to Seasons. As Regent, I just wanted to provide a clear understanding of the “what, where, when, why and how” of these seasons related items and some other relevant information.

Without much more dilly-dallying, let’s get into it!

Cold Hard Cash

One of my main goals as Regent is to put more cash in the hands of our members. Seasons provides an awesome opportunity to do so. In total, if a member maxes out the Trophies for the Season, they will earn a total of 86,000 Credits in bonus money. That’s a big chunk of cash. It ought to help people to get the funds needed to buy that “dream starship” or “MORE BESKAR” for our Mandalorian friends.

Clan Cash

I also want to put cash in the coffers of the Clans. So, Seasons offers a Clan participation bonus as well. Bonuses are awarded per cycle. These bonuses are based on % of membership participation. Participation is defined as "submitting to at least one competition in a given cycle". The award here is pretty generous and the goal for the higher threshold awards ought to be attainable for most clans.

Items

For Seasons there are two types of items: Purchasable and Granted. Access to each of these groups of items are based on Trophy progress.

We decided to give both purchasable and granted items to them remain more relevant to the plot line. Part of my job as Regent is to provide the Brotherhood with cool new items to fit into your stories. I wanted to provide more options.

For purchasable items, if you have participated in 1 seasonal event (Level 1 of the trophy), you will be granted access to purchase these items. These items will be refreshed with each cycle and will be relevant to the fictional update for that cycle. These items will only be available for purchase during an open cycle and for 1 month after the cycle ends. All items available for Cycle 1 will then be removed from the store and be replaced by new items for Cycle 2. That process will repeat until Season completion. After 6 months of being removed from the stores, each previously available item will appear in the appropriate “standard” store. So, don’t worry if you miss the first purchase window, all of these items will be available later!

For granted items, these will be automatically awarded to you upon reaching the appropriate Trophy Thresholds. Like the purchasable items, these items will be available at a later date. However, they will become purchasable and will not be “granted” after the season ends. The first granted item will be an Accessory. It will be granted at the completion of the season if you have participated in 1 competition (Level 1). The second granted item will be a usable item such as a piece of Technology, a weapon, armor. This will be awarded to you when you reach level 5 of the Trophy.

New Store

For these new items, we have put together a new store. Ascent Emporium Limited. THIS STORE IS OPEN NOW!!!

Because the trophy will not activate until competitions are graded, this store will be open during each cycle and for 1 month after the close of the cycle. My goal was to give you all the opportunity to see the available items, save for them during the season, then make your purchases at the close of each cycle.

This store replaces the old Shroud Syndicate Store.

In the future we will be looking for new and innovative ways to bring unique possession awards to Seasons participants. This is our first attempt at this, so we may change up how things work in the future.

I like the idea of it, what is a functional granted?

Alaisy, a functional granted item is just a thing that you can use in your load out that is not just an accessory. See the Granted Items section where the following appears: "The second granted item will be a usable item such as a piece of Technology, a weapon, armor"
