As mentioned by Eli, I have been made the Quaestor of House Imperium. I will have a report out soon, meaning that you can expect all of my plans and desires within the incoming day.

Currently, I am without an Aedile though. The applications will be open to all members of the DJB. However, having a knowledge of the inner workings of Imperium and Clan Scholae Palatinae will definitely help you in your application. You can find what you need for the application below. I suggest doing some research on the position, such as in the CSP House Roles document on the wiki.

PDF, MS Word, or email text formats are preferred. Getting your application proofread would help.

Applications are due by April 2nd, 23:59 PST (to give everyone a fair chance to apply, minus Hawaii). Although I’ll be evaluating applications on the way to April 2nd, we won’t be deciding who to pick until after the due date. Send them to myself, Mune, Raiju, and Elincia.

• Why are you a good fit for the position?
• What is your leadership philosophy?
• What are your thoughts on the state of the House?
• What would be your plans for getting members involved and engaged?

What we are looking for in a competitive candidate:

• Active membership
• 24 hour communication turnaround
• No minimum rank
• Must set a good example for the members and other leaders
• Must be willing to promote and track the activity of members
• Must be willing to work as a team with every Summit in CSP
• Must be willing to help with project development

Things to keep in mind:

• If you did some bad things in the past, have CoJ charges/convictions, or Letters of Reprimand, as long as you’ve changed then we’re willing to overlook them if you are. I care about your future more than I do your past.
• Don’t be afraid to ask me questions.
• I encourage you to ask the members questions, including the members of the entire Clan.

I frequently hear that members do not feel like they have the leaderships skills necessary to be Aedile. For me, I don’t want an Aedile for the purpose of doing half the work I’m supposed to do. As Aedile you will be a leader, but also a student. I will help you become a leader. I don’t expect you to have all the answers (because neither do I), and I don’t expect you to be amazing. I expect you to have the motivation and the desire to do and to learn.

Yoda famously said, “Do or do not; there is no try.” FALSE, YODA! Try, and try again. You don’t have to definitely, 100%, blood pact/oath want or not want to do this, but I expect you to have the desire to do this and the willingness to accomplish tasks in order to improve yourself in the process of being Aedile.
