Year-Long Fiction Competition - Tales of the Jedi!

Greetings, Dark Brotherhood!

With the blessing of the Voice, I am hosting a new Fiction competition series known as Tales of the Jedi! Every two weeks, I'll be putting out a new sub-competition that details a Jedi of Odan-Urr. You will be challenged to write about that Jedi, and the best three tales will recieve Third-Level Crescents.

That, however, is not the main event.

With each tale, the First Place entry will be added to a pool that will be graded at the end of December 2014. These winners will be graded against one another to find the best story of the bunch, and of these, the winners will recieve Second-Level Crescents! To clarify, you can join the pool of top winners once; should you place first again, whichever of your two entries is superior will be counted as your pool entry and the 2nd-place writer will be entered into the pool of best writers.

This competition is exciting for me, because it allows the Jedi to be a little more well-known to our Sith brethren - and it allows the writers in question to take whatever liberties they feel they need to in order to make the best story they can tell. Is your Jedi too dour, too serious? Make them more comedic. Not liking the goodie two-shoes act? Make them darker. Do you just not want to write from their point of view? Write as an NPC, or even as another character - perhaps your own - involved in the story. These are non-canonical; what I want to see is exciting, high-quality work.

Check out our first entry, Heart of the Forest, and remember - ten submissions will upgrade each competition. Show me what you can do!

Yeah... Your link is wrong. :P

Yeah, that link is wrong. I'm not upset about it by any means, but it should probably be fixed.

I think this is the link we're looking for: https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/competitions/7917

No, I think I like the other one better :P

Flawless Victory!

Fixed it. There you go, guys. :P
