Fighter Squadron Gameplay Trailer
Earlier today at Gamescon EA Star Wars premiered a new Gameplay Trailer focused on the Fighter Squadron mode. This mode consists of up to 20 players, with AI ships joining the battle from time to time as well for a genuine front lines battlefront feel. In addition to the standard "shoot your enemies out of the sky!" objectives there are transport ships that need to be disabled and your own to be defended.
Oh yes, did I mention there are two hero ships you can pilot as well if you find the powerups during the battle for them?

That looked awesome. The more I see of this the more I want it now. Really hope there's enough of a DB presence on PS4 so I'll have some folks to play with.

I'm really hoping they include some joystick support for this mode at least. I know it's not likely, but it'd be nice.
Torin - my gut feeling right now is that PC and PS4 will see a good amount of DJB players for this, with Xbone lagging behind. Once the minimum specs are out for PC version we'll be firing up a poll to see where folks intend to play this game to help folks decide what to buy.
Raise your hand if the fact that Slave 1 had it's winglets in the landing position. Still looks like fun. Graphics seem amazing. Am I the only one who thinks this looks like the last Battlefront game but with better graphics? At least in the starfighter part.
