Coming from the FIST Gaming Network offices, I bring you yet another month of gaming news and competitions to wet your appetite. Unfortunately since we are in the slow gaming news part of the year there isn’t much to update you on, since many of the new SW games are slated for the end of the year. To make up for this lack of news we switch gears and look at the new content and changes coming for the games in our current gaming library.

The blizzard games Overwatch and Diablo 3 are expecting big updates “soon” and SWTOR just recently dropped a new game update that added a lot of new stuff into the game. So if you're a fan of these games then go check out the new stuff.

News for Gamers

• As always you should read the latest FIST Report, since it always has important news that affects our gaming community the most. Make sure you read the section on how games get supported, which is important since we have 2 games in the process of being tested now.

• Coming this June is the EA Play Event , where EA plans to unviel its new games, including hopefully news on all the upcoming SW games it has in the pipeline. Once we get any information about these games they will be brought to your attention ASAP.

• Want to know what the critics think are the Best games of 2016? Well, take a look at Metacritic’s list, IGN’s List and Games Radar. How many did you play or want to play?

• Not to always be looking backwards to the past, let's look to the future. So here is a list of 44 Upcoming games that people are watching intensely. What game or games are you dying to play or get more information about? Are there any not on the list you are excited about?

• For our SWTOR Players you can now enjoy 250% bonus XP and command XP from now to April 10th! Time for you to level up and enjoy the Defend the Throne update!

• Since Diablo 3 is making a comeback, members should already be aware of these rumors. With Season 9 coming to an end sometime in the next few weeks, everyone is now wondering when will Season 10 start. Oh and also, when will the Necro finally be released and for what price? If you are bored waiting for it why not try some Diablo 3 Mahjong?

• Our Overwatch players also have rumors and changes abound, like Unity Day and DOOMFIST?. Did you know that in 2016 there were more articles written about OW then any other game? Also, did you ever wonder what your favorite OW characters would look like in N64’s Goldeneye? Well, wonder no more.

• Blizzard is combating Korean Hackers in a big way and it will bring changes to everyone who plays on Battle.net. Read about it HERE.

• GMRG Gorefest 2017 - All your Gorefest needs in one handy container! Double Clusters for all GMRG members. If you're not a member if the GMRG then take the GMRG History SA COURSE, now! February’s Gorefest is this weekend and starts on Feb 16th!

• FIST: Quarterly Gaming Challenge Q1 2017 - when you don’t have anywhere to place your PvP, PvE or PvO Clusters of Earth/Fire place them in these monthly cluster races!

• FIST - 2nd Annual Mobile Gaming - Another year of Mobile games and Bonus CE’s!

In conclusion -

It’s nice to see the gaming community is hitting a nice stride and I am happy to announce that there is a healthy amount of gaming submissions coming in, but like in all things we would also love to see more.
