Dark Brotherhood News - Upgrading the system

Welcome to this month’s Gaming update, obviously the first thing I should mention is the changes to the FIST staff, I would like to welcome both Savant Junazee and Seer Uji Tameike as our new Magistrates for a 6 month term. They have already hit the ground running with ideas, submission approvals and new competitions. So feel free to congratulate them and ask them for any assistance you may have as well.

Also as you might have guess this report is a little late due to the fact of the holiday weekend but also if i were to get it out on time I’d would have missed all the cool new gaming news that hit over the weekend. As you may all know by now Destiny 2 is due in September and Star Wars Battlefront 2 (not the one from 2005) will drop in November of this year. Of course not to mention all the other news from Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3, Starcraft and Destiny 1 as well.

So without further delay let’s get into the fun part of this update.

News for Gamers

• As always you should read the latest FIST Report and of course his quick UPDATE. Congratulations to all the GMRG winners and good luck for the next quarter! Oh what’s this I can now track how many clusters I have waiting to be awarded and not go over the weekly cap anymore! Thank you, James!

• OK, so lets get the BIG news done first Star Wars Battlefront II is coming this November and during this past weekend at SW: Celebration they dropped this stunning TRAILER. This game will have a lot of things the first game didn’t, a SP story, Every SW era and more exciting heroes. The one huge thing it won’t have is a Season Pass, so that in itself should be very very interesting change. I do hope this is a lot better than the first game so join me in following the latest news on it’s Official Site. Remember, whatever new info or trailers are released I’ll do what I can to highlight them for you here.

• Heroes of the Storm is one of our newest games and it’s the one that will undergo the most radical change of all the games on our list. Heroes of the Storm 2.0 will GO Live in a few short days on April 25th. There will be a live Twitch Event on the 25th that will highlight all the new stuff in HoTS 2.0. A new map and a Hero have already been released. While a new cinematic and 2 new heros (Genji and ???) will be release on the 25th as well. Honestly, there is so many new changes I can’t list them all here but you can check them all out on the HoTS 2.0 site.

• For our Diablo 3 fans the Necromancer Closed Beta is Live invitations were sent via email so if you got one please drop some feedback for all of us either here or in the DBgaming channel. Many of us (like me) didn’t get one and are eager to know about the new class. For the curious here is the Necro’s Skill overview.

• In Overwatch release it’s new hero Orisa and released a new webcomic featuring tracer and to help introduce it’s new spring event Uprising the event run from now to May 1st. So go grab your new skins, intros and other fun loot box items!

• For fans of the original Starcraft you get 2 fun pieces of news first of all the original game now being 20 years old is officially free and can be downloaded AND Blizzard has announced they will release a Remastered version of the original game this summer (NOT FREE). • With all the Bungie news directed towards the sequel we still have many member’s battling their way through the the original’s Age of Triumph the last Destiny 1 event. I finally got my light level to 370 but if anyone wants to help drag me through some things hit me up in the DBgaming channel.

• Speaking of Destiny 2 people want to know how to get in on the Beta test and as of now only preorders are getting that privilege. If there will be a open beta or otherways to get in on it we will have to keep you posted or keep an eye on the Destiny 2 Beta site
