Star Wars Battlefront has laid out plans for the road ahead through 2016, including the first look at what those of us who purchased the season pass can be expecting to see, as well as straight up free additions to all people who own and play the game.
From the post on the Battlefront blog, we can see that "[a]ll fans will get free content that includes new maps for both multiplayer and Missions modes, the introduction of Private Matches, new Hero outfits, and more. Fans looking to get even more out of their Star Wars Battlefront experience can look forward to the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass, which will introduce a wealth of fresh content set across exciting new locations including Bespin, the Death Star, and more."
Not only that, but there will be a content release adding on the Battle of Jakku DLC dropping TOMORROW which will include:
I'm really intrigued about the private matches personally, and can't wait to see what the Fist's office comes up with to support them. But the announcement isn't just about whats coming tomorrow, it also includes a roadmap going forward for what we can expect to see.
Turning point will expand to all maps that currently support walker assault and supremecy.
March
New MP Map on Endor that Supports Walker Assault, Turning Point, Supremacy and another Tatooine Survival Map
As for Season Pass owners, this is what we can expect to see... including MOAR DEATH STAR!
All of this content will be released on all the supported platforms. I'm looking forward to this game continuing to stay active and fun, and it looks like DICE and EA are doing their best to make sure it stays that way!

On the off chance any one from EA or DICE is looking here are some of my suggestions for content updates to make BFIII fun:
So you would rank the game as a...7/10?
The season pass might not have been a mistake. I hope Bespin is as good as it was in Battlefront 1
It still has not got me convinced that I will be buying in for a while. I remain pessimistically optimistic though. I want the new content to make the game closer to what I originally hoped for.
To be clear, I mean on the future paid content.
I have a lot of fun playing the game, however, the lack of a campaign kind of doesn't make sense to me.
Agreed. I wish there was a campaign. I haven't enjoyed it as much as I hoped I would, because I loved the first two. I've already paid though for the game and season pass. I'm not saying the season pass is worth it yet, but it sounds promising
As much as I'd like to get the season pass it costs more than the game where I live which is quite frankly just ridiculous.
