A day or so ago Star Wars Commander began the Scoundrel's Tournament. An added perk during this Tournament is that if you don't already have a Cantina you can build one for 50% off the credit cost! I'm guessing at this next part, but the discount may also apply to folks you hire out of the Cantina as well, mine is still under construction.

This Tournament will run the same as the last one, with the same screenshot restrictions. All details have been added to the related competition.

Also running right now is the Star Wars Galactic Defense Hunter's Standoff event. It is an arena style event with the Event Champion being Embo (Light Side) who has a special move to summon his pet. The Dark Side elite champion is Pre Visla, who is normally a ranged character, but his special move lets him break out the Darksaber and melee it up. He can be obtained through the expensive recruitment pods for a limited time. The Light Side elite champion is Padme Amidala. Both receive a 5x boost to attack and health through the event.

Related to Galactic Defense, if you play I suggest doing your best to reach 100k event points each day for the free Recruitment Pod Tokens. Using 30-50 Boosters I've been able to reach 100k event points in 10 or less tickets reliably. The Boosters also carry over to the next arena event.
