Hello Satele Shan!
Kah Manet here with a lovely little fireside chat. Do you hear that? I just threw another log on, hope you don’t mind the sound of it sizzling as we sit and talk. How are you today? Can I offer you anything? Some soda? A beverage of alcohol perhaps? No? Well let me know if you need anything.
Let me just adjust my robe here and we’ll begin. That’s better. Sorry if there was anything you may have taken a gander at that you didn’t like. Before I begin, I’d just like to say that I’m really excited to see what the future holds for Odan-Urr and Satele Shan. We got a feud coming up, which means we all need to pull together and work as a team. I want to see us all drinking and eating in the Halls of our enemies, laughing at their defeat heartily. Or, ya know, staring at my computer screen and going “Hey, look at that! We won!” Whichever might happen.
First, let’s display some competitions. We all like those, right everyone? Right? I see Sa raising his hand. Good, good boys and girls. Here they are!
Star Wars Uprising: Jan- Mar 2016 Sector Battles
This parent competition of Star Wars Uprising will be used to tie together the Weekly Sector Battle Competitions through March 2016.
Star Wars Commander: Jan- Mar 2016 Planetary Conflicts
This parent competition of Star Wars Commander will be used to tie together the Weekly Planetary Conflict Competitions through March 2016.
Earn as many CF/CE's as you can and kill all the noobs! And claim victory for the Brotherhood!
I think we all know what this is, go get some Clusters and dominate the Gaming World, Satele Shan!
Dark Brotherhood Flash Game Knockout
Flash Game Ladder Match Type of Thing. Sounds like fun!
Play the SNES Star Wars and have some fun!
Replace an iconic character in the Star Wars universe with Deadpool.
A series of comps that end relatively soon. There are numerous in here and they’re all a lot of fuN!
Describe a cantina! Great way to make a lasting impact, too!
Describe an action or a small moment in time. Great way to practice detailing!
Tea Time! Describe your character going to a mysterious tea party. I made Kah snatch fruit with his tongue and rock in his chair. What cool party tricks can YOUR character do?
Your character, either through a dream, meditation or drug induced haze has a vision of themselves as their opposite alignment. Describe what they see!
Develop and build a city! Lot of fun! Take a peek for more detail, but another great way to leave an impact on Odan-Urr.
You find some grafitti in Seher. Using a graphic platform, show it.
Make a fiction prompt you think might be fun to do. We’ll be stockpiling these and probably using them soonishly, so help us help you :)
That is a list of some stuff you all can do. There are more comps upcoming, and we will present you with them as they arrive. Seriously though, do these competitions. They’re all awesome and a lot of fun, and I think you will find that they are very much akin to potato chips. You can’t eat just one.
Now that we’ve tackled the competitions, gotten them all squared away and tucked into bed, we can look at the next big topic I’d like to discuss with you during this time. The Fictional Development of Satele Shan.
We sent an email out earlier in the week asking you all to tell us what you would like to do in Satele Shan. So far, the consensus has all been that we hunt down relics and stop bad guys. We here in the office have started calling it the Indiana Jones of Boondock Saints. We’ll be hunting down Dark Jedi and other evil people and stopping them, while also collecting artifacts and relics and studying them. We get our information from SenNet and do the stuff we need to do.
I’m very excited about this, and can’t wait to see what we do with it. There is an email discussion that you can all refer to, the subject is Satele, A Fictional Direction.
This is the part of my fireside chat that I open up (don’t worry, not my robe) and tell the members some things that have been bothering me. Things that I’ve thought about and wanted to share with you all.
I know we have all had those moments where we think to ourselves “I’m not good enough to get it, I won’t bother trying.” or “I’m not gonna win, no point.” Or we have those moments where we think that something is a guarantee for us and when it is revealed that it wasn’t a guarantee at all and someone else got that thing you thought was yours, and so you get angry and spiteful. We’ve all had those moments, but it’s how you handle them that matters.
Not doing something in this club because you don’t think you’re the best, or because you don’t think you’re going to win is basically like signing up for a sport that you love and saying that you don’t want to practice because you’ll never be Whoever-Sports-These-Days. Heck, the only way you can potentially be the best is if you work at it and try. So the next time you start thinking to yourself that you won’t participate because it won’t matter or because you won’t win, I want you to think of me. Think of me sitting here, making competitions, excited to see what lovely things people have written or drawn me. Think of Turel, who apparently scours the internet to find us crack and heroine in the forms of mobile games. (Seriously, if I spend another 20 minutes hiding in the bathroom at work so I can play Clicker Heroes, someone might notice.) People generate content in this club so we can consume it.
You consume. You grow. You build.
In essence, being a member is a lot like being a Zerg in Starcraft. Basically, what I want you to do is construct more overlords and grow, guys and gals. I want you to flood my inbox with notifications about Clusters of Fire and Fiction submissions and all the goodies and great stuff we can do in this club until I have so many recommendations to write my fingers bleed and my robe is in tatters on my tooshie because I have had to sit at my computer so long.
Consume, and we will give you more.
You guys are awesome. My fireside chats are fun. Don’t get discouraged, kick butt and take names.
Oh, and anyone that wants to make me graphics for my reports and such, have it. I'll use whatever you make.

I think I need an adult.
Alethia kah is an adult.....which makes me feel we all need an adult ;p
Great report Kah. Excelent information. Now go go do the things.
Excellent report
Nice Report Kah!!!
Do some competitions or Kah starts to get less and less clothed as these fireside chats go on. And drunk.
