Aedile of House Dinaari Report #3.

With the end of April comes some heartbreaking news from the Clan Summit Prophet Keirdagh “Yacks” Taldrya Cantor, our Clan Consul has decided to step down. Yacks has been a driving force behind our clan for a long time, far longer than I’ve been a member of the DJB. It has been decided that Prophet Howlader “Howie” Taldrya, the old proconsul, will step up to take the mantle of Clan Consul. Everyone make sure that you thank Yacks for his service to this clan, and Congratulate Howie on his appointing. Good Luck Howie, House Dinaari’s Aedile has your back.

Competition News:

We have several Competitions going on in our Clan, and in the Brotherhood itself:

• The “Taldryan Intelligence Directorate” is on its fourth set, and final stretch, of competitions. Bobecc has been leading the charge of Clan fiction, so make sure to participate, and pay attention to what’s going on with it. TID!!!

• Our new Consul Howie has a new HUNT THE JEDI special edition comp starting tomorrow. Show some support for our new leader and go HUNTING.

• Yacks “Wade into the Meme Stream” Competition series is almost over, so get your submissions in NOW!!!

• Throughout the month of April, I have been co-hosting a competition series called “Tweleve Weeks a Haiku”, with the purpose of building DJB wide participation, and creative growth. Take part of this opportunity to grow in your creative thinking. HAIKU!!!

• Our Quaestor Omega is running a competition called “You can't pickup chicks (or dudes) in a tie fighter!” Check it out here

• Seer Keneth Zoron Sporcle series is still going on so go show up how knowledgeable you guys are. These Star Wars based quizzes are great!!!

• Yacks has been asked to present two members of Taldryan as contestants in an upcoming DJB wide gaming tournament. To decide on the participants, a new Gatekeeper Trials competition is underway. Compete for the honor of representing your House, and Clan. Trial are HERE

• Warlord Andrelious J. Mimosa-Inahj next MB Fiction Competition is up. Sign up and write some character story. link

Omega and I are working on some gaming competitions to take place in the near future. If you have suggestions on what gaming platforms you’d like to see send me a message. As always your Clan Summit encourages you to come up with ideas for competitions. I am here to assist if needed, as I’m sure Omega is as well. Let’s get some more activity brewing here in Dinaari.

For the month of April I had planned on working through the Dinaari clan Wiki page and getting it more up-to-date. Unfortunately I’ve been unsuccessful in finding any real information suitable for placing on our page, though I have made it apriority to record anything done while I am Aedile that I can add in to the page. For any older members, if you have any information that would be helpful, I’d appreciate the help.

And finally I am currently participating in a Journeyman ACC Tournament, representing Taldryan alone now. Neophyte Xylnn WolfStalker, a member of our Dinaari family, sadly was eliminated. He fought bravely, and true, and has my respect for entering this tournament. Sometimes having your writing judged can be a hard thing to do. I want to tell XyInn to keep on going, and he will surely improve, of that I have full confidence. I hope to continue on in this tournament and do good things for Taldryan, and Dinaari.

Conclusion:

April has shown us that change is imminent, and unavoidable. Let’s work together as a House, and Clan to take these next steps into the future. Together we are strong. Divided we will fall.
