I don't have any of that fancy stuff to make this report look good.

(But I'll try and make sure I have something for my next report)

Introduction

So this is something new for me with it being the first report I’ve written and I guarantee it won’t be the last. I’ve only just recently taken on the mantle of battleteam leader for the Apostles of Syn. I’ve been speaking to many people who’ve all made me feel welcome in the role despite only holding it for a short time. But there are some people I need to thank, so I’ll get all that stuff out of the way so it doesn’t end up in the next report.

Viv, Teylas and Dralin thank you for not only reading my application but deciding it was good enough to get me this valuable position. My fellow BTL Jai’de Serpens for stepping in to fill the void left by Qormus’ unfortunate resignation due to real life circumstances. These things happen but it is how we respond that defines us and Jai’de reacted in an admirable fashion so I must thank her for that. Along with Dralin and Jai’de there have been two former BTLs of AoS Drac and Tavi, thanks guys for you as well as others to say that you think I’ll do well in this position really means a lot to me.

Promotion News

Now that my thanks which looking back seem reminiscent of an acceptance speech are over and done with we can move on to what really matters. The people who make up the brilliant battleteam of Apostles of Syn. While there has only been 2 promotions within the battleteam this is understandable given that in the real world there have been exams a plenty and of course work for others as well as other RL issues and this means that people don't have much time for promotion hunting. I’m not here to criticise people, I’m here to help them which is why since taking over I’ve been emailing members to do what I can to get them to the next rank. With this being said that doesn’t mean that members have been dormant or are far from promotion with many of AoS’ members having made over 90% progress to the next rank, so keep up the good work and there’ll be more promotions next time, I promise.

New Member Introduction

Just before I finish the report I would like everyone to show a good Plagueian welcome to our newest Apostle Callidous. Callidous has been in the rogues for a long time but has come to Plagueis to rise up the ranks of our brotherhood which I’m sure he’ll do being one of two promotions since I took over as BTL.

Your Opinions Matter!

The members of the battleteam have opinions, opinions that I care about and that is why I have decided to give them an open forum of sorts to suggest any ideas they have and receive not only peer feedback but feedback from myself. I’m also hoping to help increase interactions with battleteam members over a variety of platforms, I can be found on IRC most of the time and always have my email open but am open to new methods of communication.
