Zuza let me know a few weeks ago that she was ready to step down from Consul and let someone else take the laboring oar. She accepted Arcona Consul under very difficult--and sudden--circumstances, and I can't say enough about her enthusiasm or ability to really convey what an asset she is to her clan and to this club. Few members have been thrust into similar circumstances, and I'm confident in saying that Zuza has everything it takes to be a successful leader in this club at any level. I want to thank her for everything she's done in her role, but especially for accepting it in the first place: she didn't plan or expect to be in the right place at the right time, but she was, and she rose to the occasion. So thank you, Zuza, and good luck with whatever comes next for you.

Of course this also means I need to hire a new Arcona Consul.

There is no minimum rank or experience required, but some experience with clan leadership is important and experience in Arcona is a plus. In your application, focus on the responsibilities of a Consul, and just explain what type of leader you'd be and what your approach would be to leading Arc specifically.
