Intro!

“We are not late, you're early!” Tries to turn back time and fails. Ugh...Well here we go!

Message from the Quaestor:

HELLO Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well out there. I’m still here, got even quieter than usual for I have been on vacation etc. Trying to get in the swing of things again and slowly get outta vacation mode. The time off was really nice and enjoyable. I hope you have had time to go on vacation or chill. If not yet hopefully soon, everybody needs it. Anyways my trip included beach time, finding shells, getting stung by jellyfish, seeing many dolphins and yummy seafood! Plus got to meet the awesome Lucine and troublemaker Donny. Was a great time, always look forward to meeting fellow members in person!

On to the DJB side of things, it has been fairly quiet with some competitions going on. Speaking of competitions. There is a Clan Event going on! There are 7 competitions to sink your teeth into. Has a little bit of everything so make sure you check them out! Don’t worry, you have about 3 weeks left to work on them. So no rush atm. Hope to see everyone participate and have some fun with it.

Once the house event has concluded there will be another small break and BattleTeam look out for some things targeted for you all. Then we plan to have another break and have a House Event. We do not want to over burden everybody and have things at the same time but spread them out.

I encourage anyone that is interested to coordinate competitions themselves. Myself or a member of the Summit are happy to assist with any questions or concerns. Not only does it give you credits, but you also get the added experience and help towards that promotion or a shiny award! Also can give other members something to do for the same reasons.

Also, before I left for vacation I mentioned within the House chat on Telegram about sending me artwork for a little project! I have not forgotten and still want\need your artwork! It will be a fun series of puzzle competitions featuring either artwork you have done of your character(s) or that you have commissioned of your character. This will be focused on the House so we can have a little fun with another! With that said send me the ARTS! Can send two pictures via telegram or email as an attachment.

Message from the Aedile:

It is report time once again Ladies and Gents, as you know we are on a semi break with a small event going on. Relaxation and poolside fun awaits! On a smaller side I want everyone to welcome back our lovely Quaestor from her vacation and wish her all the good memories she made along the way.

As you read above once this small clan event is over we will be taking a small break to get an event set up for both the house and battle team at large so be on the lookout for those in the upcoming weeks.

As always if you have questions/concerns of any kind my door is always open to you at any time. Just reach out to me by email or Telegram. I will get back with you as soon as I am able.

House Fiction Update:

Again thanks to Sera for taking on the House fiction, also to Qyreia on assisting him on it.

Eldar

Golden sunlight filtered through the wreath of the Eldarian canopy, falling upon a thick, pallid early morning fog. Forest birds called, swooping through the low branches on silent, barely fluttering wings, searching for an early meal. It had rained quite heavily the night before. Storms came fitfully to the southern foot of the Aifreannean continent, heralding the arrival of the dry winter months. They appeared out of cloudless skies, drenching the jungles with rain and hail, before disappearing as quickly as they had come, often with the rise of the morning sun. Sera had risen while the final, weeping tears of the storm passed overhead, long before the sun was up. Leaving Diy to catch a few more winks on the odd pad…bed…thing behind her, the Zabrak prowled silently through Spectre Cell’s temporary lodgings within Toronaga’s keep. She managed not to wake the others as she stepped by their quarters. They’d been put through their paces the day before, training hard. Xenna and Tyga had run through sabers, the former of them quite aggressive in her teaching style. Zodac and Diy had put together a blasters course, and a joint team of Eldar Rangers and Keadeans had taken them through an extensive, exhausting bushcraft seminar. A productive day. Somehow, it had still managed to feel like…a break.
