Arcona Rollmaster Roundup 4, Oh so many fresh faces
Hey folks, it's the weekend, that means it's time for an update!
We've had a lot of new faces popping up lately, and with the oncoming movie expect even more. You see the new blood around be sure to say hello.
New People!
Since the last Round Up we've gained a number of new folks, so here's a brief rundown.
Shadow Blade, a random join whose currently working on a comic book.
Jameela Nas'ir, Rhace Tarrin's new Apprentice joined us and has since knocked out numerous SA courses.
Altair Tellaryn, another recruit of Rhace's and Emily Hune's new Apprentice, also tackling the SA.
Skalagrim Russ, recruited by Kanis Da'uul and now his most recent Apprentice joined us and jumped right into Telegram, so say hi if you see him around!
R41D-3R, another Kanis recruit joined us recently, Apprenticing to his Quaestor, Celevon, good luck to them both!
Craden Vanar, recruited by our own Proconsul, Arcia, joined House Galeres!
PaRapRappa, recruited by Braecen, joined Galeres as well and is also on Telegram already, say hi to him!
Promotions!
Lonewolf made Acolyte for his hard work, and is currently waiting for his time in rank for Hunter!
Sheldi, another recruit of Braecen's, earned her Novice already!
Shadow Blade of Qel Droma picked up Novice as well for his test taking skills and communication.
Altair hopped up to Neophyte, good job on him!
Skalagrim picked up Proselyte for his test taking skills as well as communicating with his fellow members and summit.
R41D-3R got his Novice for contacting his summit as well.
Mac, Nighthawk's resident gaming machine, picked up Acolyte as well as jumping a few GMRG ranks!
PaRapRappa already got Proselyte after a day on the job, good on him!
Ernordeth, not a Journeyman but hey, picked up Battlelord, everybody give a shout out for an Equite 3 promo, they ain't easy to get.
Competition Spotlight!
Alright boys and girls, this Round Up, with all of our new folks joining up (wave to the old people, kids), the comp focus is going to be on the 'quick, easy, and fun' more then anything else. Soooo here we go!

Arconan Flash Series
* Yup, starting with a shameless self promotion here. The AFS is in week 3 with the game Ballz, quick and easy comps here for participation and competition!
Just What I've Always Wanted
* A Christmas related fiction comp being ran by the Voice office, concerning gift giving/receiving. Be mindful, this has a word cap.
Puns
* A quick comp concerning puns, originality is king, though groan-worthy is also part of the judging. Not sure why, all puns are groan worthy.
Star Wars Inneuendomy
* Ah, yes, uhh, another self promotion. Give us your worst pick up line, Star Wars style. Scare me, make me laugh, or make me think, dooo it.
Character Development Opportunities
Strands of Fate
* Rhace's fiction series involving asking questions concerning your character, great for developing personality. Make sure you do the one that's current :P
First Encounter: The Force
* Nath is running a wonderful fiction comp where you tell of your character's emergence into the Force. This is an awesome topic to write and you can do a lot with it.
Atty Discovers Your Birthday!
* For those looking to write a horror story...err...fun...happy...story. That doesn't involve getting black bagged and kidnapped. At all. Zakath is running a fun one where you get to celebrate your birthday in whatever style the Consul would throw you a party.
Beauty School Dropouts
* The Shadow Lady herself is running a fiction comp (running till the 9th!) where your character finds themselves in 1950's America. Should be fun to see what people come up with for this.
How the Sword Stole Christmas
* This one is for Tyrant Sword members, being ran by their very own Lonewolf! Write about how you ruin or steal Christmas from other members of House Qel Droma. Be devious, be funny, have fun with it.

Final Thoughts
Well, as you guys saw above, we have a TON of new people coming in now, which is awesome. It also means I'll be needing more people (willing or otherwise) to be Master's for some of these new folks. It's a great opportunity to pass on some of your knowledge, make a friend, and help indoctrinate a new member into the Arconan family. So if you're interested in becoming a mentor, drop me a line!
