Greetings and Salutations, everyone!

I'm Jack, resident grump, crank and, surprisingly, teacher. I've been around the block more than a few times and had to replace the whole bike a time or two. Just like Johnny Cash, I've been everywhere, man, and now I'm the Quaestor of Sunrider. I'm not really that good at reports, so we'll just step right along with it.

Big News

With the opening of the Houses, I got moved from the Team Leader of the Knights of Allusis to Quaestor of Sunrider. My replacement over there is none other than Eechee. Make sure you go and congratulate them.

In our own news, we have opened up the Templar Jensaarai as our Battleteam and Jovian Grey has been selected as their first leader. He's young, plucky and full of spirit. (Or something like that.)

Be kind to him. If you break this one, I won't give you another.

Naturally, I don't want to see any of you go anywhere. I'm greedy and want to keep all of my lovely children right here at home with me.

That being said, there are amazing opportunities around that I would never tell you to not go for. All of the positions are rewarding work in pretty spectacular places. So, if the mood strikes you, hurry and apply for any and everything!

AWARDS CORNER

Probably going to always be my favorite part of every report. Knowing that you are all getting sufficiently awarded for being absolute units (or whatever the kids call it now) warms the cold, dead cockles of my heart. For example!

Did you know that Nikora Rhan (Tarvitz) snagged a shiny new Amethyst Kukri? No? You should go read it and say something nice to him.

Aura/Blade/Dogelady also got a Kukri for general badassery.

Lizuni (Revak) got a Sapphire Blade not too long ago as well!

There's probably more that got lost in the spam-shuffle of my email going from BTL to QUA, so if I missed you, I apologize wholeheartedly. Point it out to me and I'll give you a shoutout in the next installment of As The QUA Turns.

Closing remarks

We're just getting started, our feet have hit the ground and we're (mostly me) learning how to run. We've got a solid team from top to bottom (Minus the Proconsul, go apply) and we'll start getting stories going both for the House and the Team soon.
