Welcome to the second edition of the Battleteam Krennic report! Now complete with fancy report graphics that I made up!
I’m sorry to say that I have no fancy musings for you this time. So, I’m just going to jump right into things.
Positions have been filled! Congratulations go out to our new Social Media Tribune, Maximus Alvinius, as well as to our new Wiki Tribune, Bentre Stahoes. Also of note is that Arden Karn di Plagia is the new Consul of Clan Plagueis, and Kasula Daegella has been appointed as the latest Magistrate to the Herald.
And now we’ve got a new opening as well: our Regent, Evant, is looking to hire some Magistrates to help out with Possessions and Regent-y type stuff! Send your applications to Evant and his Praetor, Halcyon, by May 11th, detailing your likes and dislikes of Possessions, as well as any ideas that you might have in mind for it.
Another cool thing going on is that as the Social Media Tribune, Maximus has created official DJB Twitter and Instagram pages, which are currently live!
Rejoice, for GJW XII: Retribution is finally wrapped up story-wise now, so go check out the Epilogue to GJW XII here in the news post that Wally made.
Our latest Clan event, Expansion, is finished and you can find the news post with the results and closing fiction here. As a result of this event, we have expanded our territory on Ragnath -- Scholae Palatinae now controls Caelestis City and the Nethal Archipelago.
Dek’s latest Quastor Report can be found here. In this report you’ll find some information regarding the rebranding that we’ll be doing to House Imperium and what our future might start to look like. Go check it out and see what you think about it all.
These two things I think are pretty cool. Our very own Rollmaster, Mune Cinteroph, has designed a logo for the Legacy of Palpatine:
Additionally, as part of our placing in the GJW, we were allowed to have a special award. This is the Technocratic Blade that we now have selectable as a weapon, also designed by Mune Cinteroph:
We’ve had an influx of new members, thanks to our new social media pages.
Welcome to our newest members: Anyanka, Dreigin, and Solarc!
I’d like to stress once again what I feel like is an important step for any member, especially new ones. Please take the time to check out Telegram, in any of its multiple forms, and join our clan chat. Being able to engage in the community we have is always a great thing, and we welcome you with open arms. I like to think that we’re one big, slightly dysfunctional and crazy family. But don’t let that scare you off; we’ve got a great bunch of people and would love to get to know you. Aside from that, it’s a great way to reach out for help. And with the other DJB chats that exist, you can meet people in other units and get advice from them and learn more about their characters.
Remember to check in on the competition listings for any new ones that might get added over the next few days, and just check it every now and then anyway. You might find something that you really like.
So, this time around I’m gonna talk about something that’s at the core of what we do here: activity.
During my stay here in the Brotherhood, I’ve had varying levels of activity; it’s ranged from low and only doing a flash game or puzzle every now and then up to doing a bunch of comps over the course of a year, and even setting a new record for myself in participation for a GJW. And you know what, it’s okay that my activity levels varied. It’s okay if your activity levels vary, too. You don’t need to do ALL the things - but it’s fine if you want to. More power to you. All you need to do is a little here and a little there, and it’ll all add up in the end. Trust me on that.
So, if you’re new, it’s fine if you just want to start small and work your way up as you get your feet wet and adjust to what things are like here. And while you’re doing that, just know that there are plenty of people here that can help you with whatever you need. Struggling with something? Reach out to your leaders, your friends, or even strangers that you don’t really know but may have seen talking on Telegram and seem to know what they’re talking about. Sure, you may be a bit nervous if it’s a stranger to you, but believe me when I say that the people in our big community are pretty great and don’t mind helping out if/when they can.
That’s it for this report, folks. Until next time.
For the Empire!
