Battleteam Strike-Team Ooroo - Report #7 (July)
Greetings,
This is my seventh report or the July report for Battleteam Strike-Team Ooroo. Another month, another report. As always I have some news, competitions and project (new!) for our Battleteam. So let’s find out! :)
BT News
- You’ve probably already known, as I announced them before through email, that currently there are two competitions for our Battleteam. A fiction and a graphic competition, more details in the competition section. The story arc of those competitions will lead to something bigger plot, which will be revealed by our House summits. So stay tuned.
- Aaleeshah came to me with an idea to build a headquarter for our Battleteam. And I said why not make this a Wiki Project, as there is a wiki page for Ooroo HQ, the Tipsy Tusken, it is still under heavy construction though :P. So if you have any ideas on how our HQ will look like, the interior, the cantina, etc, please let us know as we will be building our HQ in no time :)
- As our new member Scheat Eclipseflame left for Battleteam Knight of Allusis to become their Sergeant, congrats mate, make us proud! Battleteam Ooroo is still accepting new members. So if you’re interested in joining STO, please send an e-mail to me at: jediscumm[at]yahoo[dot]com.
Clan & House News
Our feud with Arcona, called The [Tides of Change] has come to an end. You can read our PCON report for the detail result. Although Arcona beat us by 4% (951 points to 798 points), we surely gave them a hella good fight. And our PCON was pleased that our participation was beyond expectation though we lacked in placements. What that means is we still need to improve. So as our PCON advises: keep gaming, keep writing and keep drawing, that’s what the competitions are for.
Promotions, Awards & SA Exams
The big highlights here are: Rangel on his promotion to Jedi Knight and also to Ceballa Lightbringer as he is elevated to the rank of Padawan, congratulations!

Krandon: SA rank elevated to VI Super Senior. Good work!
Junazee: SA rank elevated to IV Junior. Well done!
Aaleeshah: SA rank elevated to IV Junior, PoB x1, CEs x284, CIs x7, CrD x1, CrA x1, CrE x1, elevated to GMRG rank VII. Impressive!
Rangel: SA rank elevated to IV Junior, promoted to Jedi Knight. Congrats!
Ceballa: SA rank elevated to III Sophomore; promoted to Padawan. Almost there! :)

* Ooroo Mission #3: Investigation; a fiction competition to describe your investigation on the gang of pirates in Seher
* Ooroo Mission #4 Depiction; a graphic competition to depict the pirate headquarter following your investigation above

That’s it, to wrap it up: there are two BT competitions, go for them! A wiki project for our HQ, congrats to Rangel and Ceballa on their promotion to the rank of Jedi Knight and Padawan respectively, keep practicing in gaming, writing and drawing. Lastly, as I’m not sure if I have mentioned it before: do the BT competitions, that’s imperative :)
