Hello everyone! This will be a short report (at least that's my intention this month), since there's lots going on on the personal front.

As you all know, I'm waiting for child #6 to be born…! We've finally got a due date! February 6!! Thank God, because I'm tired, in pain, and I have more doctors than I ever thought I'd ever need, so I apologize if I've been out of sight this past while.

Things should pick-up once the family is settled.

Competitions

Competition wise, I'm a bit disappointed in everyone's participation! We've been in BT discussion mode since August / September, we're running comps this month that will reward your input, and almost no one has participated.

Folks, if you don't tell me what you want and the types of things you want to do, I can't guess it for you. I'm doing this for you folks, not me… so if you're not participating because you don't like the comps, pipe up.

I realize that most of the comps are BT related, but that was a Clan summit request, and what clan summit wants, they get. I agree with them though: if you don't give me feedback, we'll just go with my ideas. I'm patient, but we've been at this five months, and I've been working on a few NPC characters and plotting the battle team fictions. My patience with discussions is coming to an end, so you have until my next report (Mid-Feb) to give me some input.

You also have until Jan 31 to participate in this month's comps.

Battle Team Administration Section

Our Quaestor, Supreme Leader and all round benefactor has been looking into promotion assessments this month. Several of you have been tapped on the shoulder with ways to bring you up to snuff for your next promotion.

I've also been looking into everyone's activity (as stated earlier), and I hope to add my own recommendations before the requests go up for decision. I'm looking for participation, either in competitions and clusters for playing with others/ fiction writing, but I'm also going to include participation in the BT creation and administration. Some of you have been approached for various functions like assisting with plot/NPC development. Others have been approached to help on the gaming front. Any and all assistance will be taken into consideration, and I do plan on underlining your efforts to everyone.

In conclusion:

Go forth and play, participate and bring your best for this month's comps. We're already working on next month's comps, but I’d like to give out rewards to you folks too. I can't do that if you don't take the time to participate!
