I've never really been good at these sorts of things, so I will get straight to the meat of this. I have decided that, because of a variety of reasons, I will be stepping down as Proconsul of Plagueis. Some of these reasons are due to factors outside of the DJB as I have a rather busy "real life" that's become a lot more stressful of late. Others relate to having a lot more things that I'm working on in the club. All led me to one ultimate conclusion, with so many things vying for my time and attention, I wasn't being the most effective leader I could be. The unit deserves someone that can devote more effort than I can at present. Hence, stepping aside seemed the most logical course for everyone involved.

This doesn't mean I intend to disappear. Quite the opposite in fact. I fully intend to stick it out in Plagueis and do whatever I can to continue to make the unit the awesome place it's been of late. I will also be working on other things for the benefit of the club that should be quite exciting. Maybe I'll occasionally get a chance to relax a bit, do a fiction just for fun, maybe even take a vacation. Hmmm, maybe, but I doubt it. Last time I tried that I got caught up in some ACC tournament thing.

I will be leaving you all in good hands though. Taking my place will be someone you all know and "love", Teylas. He's been rocking it in Plagueis almost as long as anyone and I personally value his leadership and push to get things done. Hopefully you will all give him the same amount of tormen...er, love and respect you gave me. If you don't, he might just eat your brain or something.
