Greetings, Battle Team Voidbreaker. As many of you know, I’ve taken over the position of BTL from Wally, and now it’s my responsibility to make Reports like this to keep everyone updated and in the loop. That said, I’m open to suggestions on changes I can make to these reports to keep them more lively and entertaining than this one will likely be. I’m still debating on a few routes I can take with these reports, But for now I plan to stick to the basics that everyone is familiar with.

Voidbreaker News

It’s been a while since the last Official Voidbreaker Report, and between now and then A lot has happened. We survived an entire War (Mostly) intact. But really, what's a missing eye or limb anyway? Others have said it before, and I will repeat it many times if I must. Everyone who fights for the Voidbreaker should be proud of themselves and each other, regardless of outside opinions. I’m Honored to be taking over after the war, where we are surely due for some calm times of peace, right?

Voidbreaker Updates

I have a few plans for updates to the Voidbreaker wiki, one of those ideas will be powered by a competition I’d like to run. It’s a step towards a more open narrative that I'd like to foster with each of you. We’ve indeed had some peace since the war, so I think now is the best time to get creative juices flowing again and flesh out some less fleshy bits. Each contribution, no matter how small, will leave its mark on the Voidbreaker.

Question time! To be honest I was looking forward to these.

Wally asks:

• How is BTL treating you so far?

  • Right now I'm still figuring things out, But it has definitely motivated me to do more things in the Brotherhood, and keep my eye on moving chats more regularly than I had in the past. Everyone’s help has been greatly appreciated.

Tali asks:

• What moisturizer do you use to earn the nickname Softpaws?

  • Squints at the Bottle with his good eye “Odd Splice. Hmm. ‘Wolftorn’. Is that supposed to be Odd?”

Jazzy asks:

• Are you excited about your position?

  • “I suppose you could call it that. I will be of best use here, and I hope to prove that soon.”
    

• What do you look forward to?

  • “A fully functioning crew ready for anything. A lofty goal, but something I am sure we can achieve. In smaller terms, a trusting pack.”

• May I pet once?

  • Grumbly sigh “Everyone gets one.”

Sentinel asks:

• How do you plan to lead differently? What kind of shake-ups are going to happen?

  • I plan to work closer with the Crew when it comes to formulating a story. Everyone should have a part to play, and something to contribute if they want. I do not plan many shake-ups, as I do not see any real issue with how the team was led prior to me.

Archian asks:

• Did you invent a new method of massage with use of the soft paws?

  • “No, I haven't Invented anything of the sort. I believe they merely accentuate any massage given. Of course - that is - Hypothetically, if I were to give one.”

• What creature is the most soft puff?

  • “Atrocitus the Consuminator. The Voorpak.”

• What is your favorite leeq and paw?

  • “My favorite… Leak and Paw? … My left one?”

• Are there any secret ghost stories onboard the Voidbreaker?

  • “Hmm, I have heard Tales of disembodied moans and groans haunting the halls during the late cycle. As of yet, I do not believe they have been identified”

• Shall we hunt for the Borcatu in the tunnels of Port ol'val.

  • “In defense of the Voidbreaker, it must be done. The last thing we want is to have a host of those sneaking around onboard.”

• Will you cook something special for the crew?

  • “Anything I cook will likely be large hunks of something that is still bleeding. But, I think that’ll be a great idea.”

• Can we install a drying room for furry companions and creatures?

  • “It’s either that, or we have soaking wet, half naked crew drip down the halls causing mold. I’m sure we can splurge on something.”

• What new tradition will you introduce?

  • “Eating the hearts of the first thing you kill as a crewmember... I’m joking. Mostly. It could be beneficial for a variety of reasons. More reasonably, I’d like a tradition of Transparency to follow my lead. I do not want to keep information restricted, given there is some information that I cannot share. I will do what I can to keep everyone as up to speed as possible”

Eleceos asks:

• When is Doon gonna visit Eleceos for his mandated mental health screening? As a Captain, you gotta be in control, and an onboard counselor would have to keep your head fit for duty!

  • “Ready when you are. As long as you can get me off this inhaler sooner rather than later.”

Closing words

Once again, I am very excited to be leading this Battle Team. I have many ideas swimming through my brain, and I want to see each of yours as well. I want to foster a cooperative story with each of you, and give you each a story worth writing for.

This report is nowhere near what future reports will look like if I have my way, but I would like feedback from you all to see what you want to have covered by these reports.
