As we conclude the 2023/2024 term for the Chamber of Justice I'd like to take the time to thank all the individuals who dedicated time to the service of the Brotherhood's legal system. I cannot stress how important these roles are in terms of ensuring fair play and equal treatment for all our members.
Ood Bnar - As the Right Hand of Justice, Ood's lived the life of dreams - mostly hunting down clone warnings and updating the tracking behind the scenes. Ood was instrumental in documenting, researching, and prosecuting the first Brotherhood case that dove into charges coming from DJB Policies (e.g., the Wiki vandalism). This was new territory for us in the Chamber and he conducted himself professionally at all stages.
Kai Movar (aka Qormus) - Kai was the Left Hand of Justice during the aforementioned trial and, despite no engagement from our suspected Bot, he ensured that we were not hasty in our actions, that we explored what could have been harmless engagement/confusion with the site. This led to us partnering with the Emissary office to modify the join page text to indicate that name, email, and other selected items could be modified post sign-up.
While he had to step back from the club for real-life reasons I am glad to know he is doing well and hope to see him again soon.
Alaris Jinn - Alaris stepped up to finish the remainder of the Left Hand of Justice's term. I have enjoyed Alaris' proactive engagement and review of how we can be member-centric and ensure a fair means of engagement throughout the Brotherhood. I appreciate this mindset and know Alaris will be successful throughout the Brotherhood.
As we move into 2024/2025 I have selected the following two individuals to serve as my Hands.
Left Hand of Justice - Ood Bnar will transition into this role after serving a term as Right Hand of Justice. This will enable me to have continuity within the Chamber.
Right Hand of Justice - Vynn Salm (aka Korvis) will serve as my Right Hand of Justice. I have worked with Vynn (Korvis) for several years as a follow Consul engaging in co-organizing competitions, voting on various matters, and discussing the topics of the day.
I've seen him engage with his Clan member's through a variety of situations that saw him calmly and methodically mediate conflicts and prevent escalation. A Right Hand of Justice must be the upholder of our Covenant while also finding a means to deescalate situations.
I have high confidence in Korvis and look forward to his engagement with the Chamber.
I have selected the following individuals to join the Appeals Panel for 2024/2025.
I have known each of these individuals over the past few years and I appreciate their unique perspectives on issues. Specifically, the Appeals Panel is a critical check and balance to the power granted to the Justicar and Chamber via the Covenant. Specifically, though not limited to, validating expulsion sentences.
This is the most severe punishment the Chamber can issue and I want to ensure there are individuals whom I know will challenge me, and the Chamber, to ensure we are performing our duty appropriately.
I look forward to engaging with the new Chamber and, hopefully, it's an extremely quiet tenure for all of them.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions relating to Brotherhood policies and the Covenant, or you just want to chat about any concerns, feel free to reach out by email ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) or message me on Discord.

Is it too late to unnominate you?
Good choices all around. Good to see the Chamber fully stocked again
I have never regretted a vote as much as I have regretted mine for you Kami.
You all walked into this with eyes wide open. There was years of forewarning. None of you can claim ignorance.
The CoJ is in league with the Hutts?!
OOO!
But which one is the Mother?
