Chamber of Justice - 2025/2026 Term
Table of Contents
As we conclude the 2024/2025 term for the Chamber of Justice I'd like to take the time to thank all the individuals who dedicated their time to the service of the Brotherhood's legal system. I cannot stress how important these roles are in terms of ensuring fair play and equal treatment for all our members.
Ood Bnar - As the Left Hand of Justice, Ood will be leaving with regret at never having gotten the chance to fulfill this dream within the Chamber - Bringing a sitting Grand Master to trial. While we don't always get to live out our dreams, it has been a dream of mine having Ood in the Chamber. Ood is, as you can expect of a tree, full of knowledge! I will always cherish the time he legit pulled out a book with print so small he needed a magnifying glass to read a definition for us researching a situation in the Chamber.
Korvyn - Korvyn enjoyed his first term as Right Hand of Justice and I have appreciated his level-handed and detailed approach to his role. He has been the first Right Hand of Justice to bring cases before the Chamber in a post-XP environment and he has striven to strike a balance with how we enforce the Covenant in this new era.
2025/2026 Hands of Justice
As we move into 2025/2026 I have selected the following two individuals to serve as my Hands.
Left Hand of Justice - Korvyn (aka Korvis, aka Vynn) will transition into this role after serving a term as Right Hand of Justice. I have appreciated his attention to detail and I am confident he'll transition well into being the advocate for our membership.
Right Hand of Justice - Dracaryis will serve as my Right Hand of Justice. I spent considerable time speaking with Drac in 2024 when he first applied for the Chamber and was impressed with his 2025 application and assessment of the Chamber's handling of the two post-XP cases.
As I consider my staff I look for people who will compliment and challenge me as a leader and as the arbitrator of the Covenant. I am confident that Drac will exceed in both capacities. Specifically, in his ability to be a succinct and impactful communicator.
2025/2026 Appeals Panel
I have selected the following individuals to join the Appeals Panel for 2025/2026.
I have known each of these individuals over the past few years and I appreciate their unique perspectives on issues. Specifically, the Appeals Panel is a critical check and balance to the power granted to the Justicar and Chamber via the Covenant. Specifically, though not limited to, validating expulsion sentences.
This is the most severe punishment the Chamber can issue and I want to ensure there are individuals whom I know will challenge me, and the Chamber, to ensure we are performing our duty appropriately.
