Orian Assembly Phase Two Runon: Invasion Aeotheran

I’m pretty darn excited to see how “hot” this runon is turning out to be. We’ve seen a large push by many Clan members including new folks to jump in, and that is great! Right now, we are in the City of Seng Karash on Aeotheran and we are mopping up some bunch of Dark Jedi that are trying to steal things from us. It’s fun for me to do the poll across the Clan and give you guys what you want.

I ran a competition called “Ruins of the Kwi” to get some ideas for the runon, and we got two stellar entries. I used them both as promised- and here are the wiki links:

Anybody watch the Tour de France? I especially enjoy the scenery, and sad to admit the wrecks. Gods riding over cobblestones- you know your @$$ and spine has to hurt for days after that.

Proconsul’s Office Ramblings

Well, we are in an even better state than last report. We are a powerful Clan, and we are right now bringing life back to the beating heart that is Clan Naga Sadow. I’m seeing activity kick up all around the Clan, motivated new folks (we love you) and even old-timers getting stuck-in.

Being in this Clan is for you, the members. As a leader I want to do my best to see that you are involved and that your contributions and ideas actually get used. No member is too “small” to have a good idea that gets used. Case in point, the entries to the Ruins of the Kwi competition. Although Xanos did a first-place multi-page entry, Rhaegon’s second place entry helped describe the scary old ruins that folks in the runon will be exploring. and voila, it’s Clan lore now. Keep your eyes on the prize as more vents like this will come up soon. Interactive is good!

Please do log-in to the main site whenever you go there. That’s what keeps you from being AWOL’d eventually, and we need to keep our Clan numbers high!

What have I been Up to:

Pcon stuff including a conclave, awards, running Invasion Aeotheran, wiki updates, etc. Lightsaber Combat Guide is almost- there! I’d guess more than 80,00 words probably. Stay On Target! Lightsaber Construction Guide is done (60,000 words plus) and being proofed by Muz himself. Alchemy Guide is done (60,000 words plus), and being proofed again by the Grandmaster. Once that is done, edits made, our very own Sildrin will make them lovely and totally Awesome on the web. I can’t wait!!!

So yeah, I bust my @$$ a lot but I love this club and it doesn’t feel like work at all. It’s my escape from the BS that life throws at us all.

It’s especially noteworthy to see Clan Arcona contribute recommendations on Kalon’s behalf. I’m not sure if they will read this, but we thank them and this serves to illustrate that communication across units is a good thing instead of going with a maverick promotion. It’s a matter of respect and honor to the service that the member being promoted gave to the Club as a whole. As you rise in rank those kind words begin to mean more and more.
