I know, it's been so long since you've gotten one of these from me and I apologize for the delay. I'd like to start by thanking Wulfram, Yuki, Ryuu, Doku, and Waza for stepping up and in, and for bearing the weight of the Clan as I had to sort out some personal issues. Some great, others not so great. But, we are who we are through experiences. I don't complain about them, or try not to. We just need to roll with the punches. I am so proud of the Clan's leadership team. We work well together and support each other which reflects on all of you as members. We would go to war for any of you. I hope that brings comfort to you and provides you with encouragement as we push onward. Always moving forward!!

I thank you all for your patience and I ask that you bear with me as I catchup on the tailend of my funk and refocus on things that I plan to get done. With that being said, I atleast have some interesting things to cover, so buckle up.

A new quarter has ended and we've gotten our Quarterly evaluation, upon review, we received staggering numbers and have experienced tremendous growth. I'll add a snippet here just to outline some of these numbers (sorry, no pretty graphs, I'll get there)

“COU’s stats for Q1 2024 have a remarkable amount of “line go up”, in both variety and degree. Your comp participant and Cluster earner ratios are over 50% (60% and 55.6% respectively) for the first time in at least a year, even accounting for the growth in membership over the last six months. Activity across all categories has soared. Highlights include a 126% increase in competition entries, a 349% increase in Clusters earned, and a 1200% increase in competitions run.”

These numbers make me a very happy Consul. The team and I have been working to keep activity boosted by bombarding you with competitions and opportunities. This will be a recurring theme where a high level of competition production throughout the next quarter will be one of our biggest goals moving forward. No one should be getting bored that's for certain.

Personally, I will be working on wiki articles and making edits/tweaks throughout the month of June. In particular I would like to update and rework some of our factions. This includes creating two factions/branches that I feel will only add to character possibilities and immersion.

• The Wildcards, which were once a Battleteam, will be transitioning and given more of a ‘faction’ vibe. This means that if you’re a gun’totin merc, or slinging swindler, you can be part of a branch that will deal with the ‘shadier’ hues of the Galaxy. Besides, sometimes the boundaries of morality need to be adjusted.

• Essik has done a lot of work on breathing life into the [Templar Jensaarai] and I cant wait to start utilizing them.

The idea behind these additions was to allow you, the member, to get involved with something outside of the Order itself. Still serving Odan-Urr as a whole, but not necessarily tied to the Jedi. You can expect updates for this to trickle down and I will reveal more and more as we progress.

This talk about factions brings me to an event that Wulf and Tisto cooked up called The Western March of Clan Odan-Urr Campaign this year long event will possibly shape the future of competition within the Clan and just May become the new norm. Let's see how it all pans out!!

Set to start on the 1st - I encourage you all to participate. It will be loads of fun. Here's a teaser from the Proconsul.

“Welcome to the Western March of Clan Odan-Urr. This is the first, hopefully, in a series of long-form campaigns, focused on the various subfactions which make up Clan Odan-Urr. The goal of the campaign, overall, is to expand the depth of our assets by exploring and expanding on one unit of each of our subfactions per campaign, delving into their place within the overall command structure of the Clan, and providing aid for an allied System in the Nilgaard Sector. Throughout this campaign, we will use and expand upon select assets of The Clan, alongside a heavy fictional focus to show off all that you can do with them.

The Campaign will be approximately one year long, and run in phases, with different goals and metrics determining how well the Combined Forces of Clan Odan-Urr fare while responding to a diplomatic, military, and humanitarian crisis on the ground”

I also brought back my 8 weeks of random art challenges which is a series of graphics competitions with random prompts. It's simple but good times.

For the Clan, I have been discussing possible routes for us to take moving forward. While they aren’t yet set in stone. I do want to stress that what I’d like to do will once again give us a competitive mindset, a foundation to build off of that I hope will pay off over time. A Clan structure of the old way.

But as I said, there is much deliberation to be had so I won’t be jumping the gun on anything prematurely. Just know that things could be changing rapidly.

As some of you may have noticed. James and the Dark Council have been grinding away at revisions to the XP system. Many of you have gotten much deserved XP boosts. Others will experience more transparency when it comes to Elder ranks. Given XP requirements for Elder 1 is a great change in my opinion because it allows us old fogeys who have yet to reach the rank, set goals and push onward.

This has lead to some big promotions and medals:

Windos has received a promotion to Elder 2!!

Essik Lyccane has earned a promotion to Elder 1!!

Jafits Skrumm has also reached Elder 1!!

Creon has been promoted to EQ-3

Yuki and Ryuu were awarded Amethyst Kukri!!

Jovian Gray is our newest Padawan and Vyrese Palestar our newest Proselyte!!

A huge congratulations to all of you. You worked hard to get where your at and I'm so proud to have you as members of this ever-expanding Clan.

In closing, I apologize for my silence as of late. You can expect to be hearing from me more regularly as things in my life have drastically calmed down. While I didn't cover as much as I would have liked, I feel like we're in a good place and only getting better.
