Welcome to my first official report as Consul. Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Where have all the Doges gone?” Don’t worry, they’re safe... unless you’re investing in them ;)

It’s a pretty exciting time for Odan-Urr. The Rite of Supremacy: Escalation is in full swing, we just finished our most recent Peacekeeper event, Outbreak, and there are some big plans that’ll begin to unfold post RoS for the Clan, so be sure to stay tuned.

So without further adieu, I bring you the news...

Rite of Supremacy: Escalation!

We’re moving rite along with the newest event to come out of the DC offices, and there are still 8 days, at the time of writing, to participate in Phase 1 of this event. There is still Phase 2 which runs from 6/20 to 7/6, while the Event Long will continue until the end of the event. I’m very proud to say we are currently sitting at 27 out of 45 (60%) members signed up. If you’re getting here late and still would like to participate, Click here for the Pledge Page. Pledge to a faction and you’ll be all set.

Also, there are a lot of team based competitions, so if you still need a team, reach out to the other members of your faction to have a shot at those team points. As far as everything else, hit all the bins!

Finally, myself, along with other members of the Summit will be making our rounds to get your feedback, perspectives and to answer any questions you have about the RoS. Masters too will be keeping an eye on their students to help guide them. Overall, chat with each other, encourage each other and help each other out. Teamwork is key to these big events. Your contributions will get us the gold!

2021 Scimitar of Lord Hoth May results!

It’s that time of the month again… where we announce the winner of the coveted Scimitar of Lord Hoth, as well as list the runners up. All of whom put a lot of work into this last month and we would like to both thank and congratulate you for your efforts. We had 25 participants for the month of May! If you are chasing the number one spot or still want to get your name on the board, there is still time left on this year-long competition series.

How does the Scimitar Work?

Every month we count all of your Crescents, Clusters, PoBs, Competitions, events run, ACC matches completed, scrolls and SA activity then calculate the point values using our handy Scimitar of Hoth Point Rules sheet. With something that I can only assume was spawned from pure Dark Side energy, we are able to track all of your scores and maintain a running total of your points through the year. Every January, after we tally up the December results, we then present the member with the highest point total, the Scimitar of Lord Hoth! So the only thing you need to do is just the normal stuff on the site you’d normally do and we’ll take care of the rest. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward."

If life was easy, it wouldn't be worth living. Like falling into a hole. You can either stay there because you think you're not good enough or you can climb out, no matter how hard it is, and prove to yourself you are strong enough to beat it. It's all in your mindset. It's all how you see an obstacle and face the challenge. Giving up is easy but there is no reward in it. True life. True power comes from being better today than you were yesterday.
