Clan Odan-Urr Report #10
Odanites,
It's getting to be that time of the year when this winter chill starts getting a little old and you have an unhealthy rage for a certain woodchuck in Pennsylvania, but you hold it down like a boss. In this report, I make an excuse for not having a fiction ready, distract you with links to possessions stuff, test the waters for a new Community Event thingy and announce a new Aedile! So, with a drink in one hand and my shillelagh in the other, I bring you the news...
Illuminance
Thought I’d have a new fiction update this round but… I really had to organize my sock drawer. Pretty soon though, we will be launching the next chapter of the Clan storyline. With it will be a bunch of new competitions both to move the story and to build up the world around us. I’ll announce an updated timeframe for this later this week.
We have THINGS and STUFF
Turel and I have been filling out our possessions since the Dominion update dropped. Most of what has been added is old stuff that still remains relevant but we are slowly incorporating new things as the Clan and House stories progress.
Why does this get it’s own section? Well guess what! Just like how most of the content here is incorporated into canon from your submissions, (because A. I like having your input and B. I’m lazy :P), new possessions will be purchased and named by all of you through your submissions. Past practice has been to launch development competitions with story builder comps to help flesh everything out, so when a development comp drops, that’s your chance to help us build onto our possessions.

Minecraft Server and other Community Things
In the never ending quest to find things to do together, an idea was brought up to me about having a Minecraft server to get some people together and build stuff. What kind of stuff? Anything really. Doesn’t have to be an Odan-Urr thing or even a Star Wars thing.
For those of you who don’t know, Minecraft is probably one of the most relaxing games you can have in your library. The music is peaceful, you are free to create everything from a small mud hut to a massive Death Star. Using a wide array of materials, you can give your world a distinct look.
So here is the question… who else would be interested in this? Do we have anyone who plays? Want to play? Want to relax? It’ll be open and we can get together during our Community Events to get something going. Let us know!
House Run-Ons and new Aedile
First, I would like to congratulate Essik for his recent appointment to Aedile of the Guardian Corps! He brings with him experience in House leadership as well as a ton of new ideas. Gui and Essik are a great team so I’m excited to see what the Guardians can do!
With that being said, both the Consulars and the Guardians are really ramping things up and launching their stories! The Consulars have begun their fictional journey with a Run-On that you can find amongst our text channels…
The holocron from Duro would point the way to sacred Jedi locales across the galaxy, assuming they were not already discovered or wiped out by dark forces over time. One glimmer of hope would shine through and the Conclave would seek out a particular warehouse on Coruscant, deep in the bowels of the lower city, away from any prying eyes. Can they find this relic, and will they find any gems to help in their efforts to cast light across the galaxy?
Be sure to keep an eye out for a Run-On coming from the Guardians too!
If you’re not sure what a Run-On is, it’s a type of story where each submission you post moves the story forward, including all the characters. So it’s like our roleplays but you’re doing the writing for all of the characters and moving the plot. They’re fun, a great way to write with others and earn Clusters!

From the farthest reaches...
If you’ve made it this far, I’d like to thank you for reading our report. I’m looking forward to being on vacation for the next two weeks and plan to be doing a bunch of overhauling during that period so I will certainly keep you posted as things unfold.
