Odanites,
I’ll save you all some trouble and keep this one short. There will be a more informative report next month.
So without further adieu, I bring you the news...
Here we are, down to the final ~ 20-ish hours of the RoS. Last chance to finish up your fictions, gaming, and get your teammates moving to get their final posts in for the Event-Long competitions. I tip my hat to all the RoS hosters that’ll have to grade all of your excellent entries, but for us, we get to sit back, kick our feet up and relax. We’ve earned it.
So the one thing I’ll be excited about post-RoS is A) our post-RoS report, when I get to brag openly about how great you all are, and B) announcing our plans for the rest of the year. Plans of which I cannot tell you about because I promised to keep this a short report. So you’ll have to catch the next one. For now, we’ll have a few competitions coming out that’ll serve to satiate your ravenous competitive impulses. Also, if you’ve been looking to run your own competitions, challenge someone to the ACC or finish up those last few Shadow Academy classes to nail down that Maven or Savant, the next few weeks are open. So go off and enjoy all the other activities the Club has to offer.
As you may have noticed, Jon Silvon no longer holds the position of BTL of Tython Squadron. Juggling life’s responsibilities can be challenging, and Jon has been doing so for over a year and a half, so he has chosen to step down. Thank you, Jon, for your contributions to Tython Squadron, Sunrider, and to Odan-Urr. Enjoy kicking back and being a regular member!
It’s that time of the month again… where we announce the winner of the coveted Scimitar of Lord Hoth, as well as list the runners up. All of whom put a lot of work into this last month, and we would like to both thank and congratulate you for your efforts. We had 23 participants for the month of June! So, if you are chasing the number one spot or still want to get your name on the board, there is still time left on this year-long competition series.
Let’s give a round of applause for Aura Ta’var, our June Scimitar winner!

Every month we count all of your Crescents, Clusters, PoBs, Competitions, events run, ACC matches completed, scrolls, and SA activity, then calculate the point values using our handy Scimitar of Hoth Point Rules sheet. With something that I can only assume had been spawned from pure Dark Side energy, we can track all of your scores and maintain a running total of your points through the year. Every January, after we tally up the December results, we then present the member with the highest point total, the Scimitar of Lord Hoth! So the only thing you need to do is just the regular stuff on the site you’d typically do, and we’ll take care of the rest. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.
As always, you can view the Current Scimitar Standings anytime day or night, on our Clan Holocron!
A returning face you’ll see walking the halls of the Praxeum...
We want to give a shout-out to the Odanites who dominated last month in the following categories...
Crescent Harvesters
Rulers of Fire and Earth:
Artisans of Graphite:
Council of Scribes:
Praxeum Prodigies:
We are forever grateful for all the time, effort, and occasional blood you spill to contribute to this Clan.
These Odanites have taken their next step into a larger world...
Through hard work and dedication…
Aura Ta’var has attained a Scroll of the Master!
Draxion Durk has attained a Scroll of Indoctrination!
It’s been a slow month for DB wide news due to the RoS.

Wally Asks: “What is the ship name for Revak and Turel? “RevakTurel” is boring.”
Kris: “Tuvak but pronounced Tuvok from st voyager.”
Turel: “That’s Amazing!”
Revak: “Yes!”
Aura Asks: “After the RoS ends tomorrow, can we have a clan party?”
Revak: “When have we ever gone without one?”
Aura Asks: "What if all the shuttles are gone? Any teasers for the cool plans you have for the clan post ros?"
Revak: "What did you do? Do I have to buy more shuttles?! Well right after the RoS, we have [REDACTED]
At the time of writing this we have checks watch just under 24 hours until the end of the RoS. If you are a really really late bloomer on some comps like I am this is the time to finish up those entries. If you’re just tuning in there are some ~5 minute options for easy points.
The most important thing is DONT STRESS. At the end of the day this Club is a hobby we do for fun. Finish up entries you started, pick up some bins if you have time, otherwise just relax. Pat each other on the back for a job well done and enjoy a well-deserved breather. There’s some exciting clan developments around the bend and the post RoS award sweeps (make it rain shinies!).
Take care of yourself, enjoy the fellowship of our community and finish strong!

If you’ve made it this far, I’d like to thank you for reading this report, as well as thank you in advance for the effort you’re putting into the RoS. If you ever have any questions or would like to tell us how crappy we are as people, feel free to contact Turel or myself. Until next time, may the Force guide you.
