WAR! We’ll keep this short as you’re all hard at work churning out those submissions so we won’t take up too much of your time. Put on your best war face and slap that button at our fellow Clans because, without further adieu, I bring you the news...
GJW XVI
Alright, so there's sorta this event going on which is kinda a big deal… who am I kidding, no introduction is needed. LETS GET IT ON!
Idris kicked off the story by releasing the Prologue and first chapter of Transcendence, you can read the full fiction of it here, but we were also given a nice summary of the fiction…
The Brotherhood converges on Arx, preparing for the activation of the portal to the Ethereal Realm
Bril Teg Arga meditates and centers himself as the time for battle approaches
His meditation is interrupted by the sound of ships leaving hyperspace just above the camp
Sagitta lands near his tent, having completed one last practice run
Zenod'ande'rson walks by handing out fresh intel he has found from a captured member of the Children
Darth Nehalem addresses the entire Brotherhood
He reminds them of the heavy losses they took when the Children attacked their planets
This is not just a fight for revenge, but a fight to save this entire reality from the Children’s control
He stresses the importance of standing together as One Brotherhood to win the day
The Grand Master personally uses the force to lower the portal keystone into place and leads the charge into the Ethereal Realm
In the streets of the Ethereal Reflection of Eos City, the spirit of Chelsie Crimson, who died to bring Rath
Oligard back to life in the Ascent, attacks the Grand Master and his guard
From a Sky Island, Telaris Cantor watches the Brotherhood flood into the Ethereal Realm and establish a hold of Eos City, and the Portal, their only way out
Having pushed ahead, Darth Nehalem senses Cantor, and locates him on the sky island, running off to face him
The Deputy Grand Master, Dacien Victae is left to lead the Brotherhood’s assault against the Children
With the Brotherhood in the Ethereal Realm, facing off against the Children’s forces, the Great Chain of the Force finally appears
The Father prepares to use Avitus Oligard in the dark ritual to shatter the chain and remake all realities under his own control
So now you have the gist of what's going on and pretty much where things kicked off. This will help you loads if you’re submitting to any of the fiction or graphic comps, I would still recommend a read of the full fiction on a free night, but for now, there it is.
With that out of the way, we can get to the fun stuff. COMPETITIONS!
War things to do
We’re well into it at this point and I’ve been hearing a whole lot of feedback as you send in your entries so I don’t need to go into all the minor details about them, you’re already killing it at that end. But, since I need something to pad this report a bit, when have you ever known me to put out a small report, I’ll be linking a few low-impact competitions below that will have you hitting all the bins!
Small Team Run On: Unchained: Yes I know it’s a team thing and everyone’s on completely opposite schedules but you have the entire event to get something done. Besides, with others working with you, chances are they can peer pressure you into getting some words down.
Combined Cluster Race Series: This one is pretty straightforward, just play a game with another member and submit. Thats it.
Puzzle: Monster GJW Edition: It's a puzzle. Great if you’re only looking for participation points. Use the bathroom before attempting.
Or if you read the fiction… Field Recon: Make a dossier using three locations from the fiction and Research is Fun! where you have to answer questions with answers spread across multiple DB material.
Strange New Worlds: If you’re short on time, this is another easy fiction for you, the nice part about this is there are multiple prompts. If you’re not feeling the first one, the second or third might ignite a spark.
Webgame: This should be the one everybody does… as well as Puzzle: GJW Edition 1.
There ya have it folks. If you’ve done each of these, you successfully knocked out all the bins this first round. Doing more is fantastic but making sure you hit all your bins helps the Clan immensely.
Now let's talk about the Button. Oh yes, the infamous Button Game has returned. Let us know if you’re unable to see the channel for it, but since many of you are giving it a whack, I think many of you got it down.

Note: Like I said in chat, if you’re having any issues with any competition, EMAIL the event hosters for that competition and CC Bubba and Atra. Never hurts to keep myself and Gui in the loop too.

It’s that time of the month again… when we announce the winner of the coveted Scimitar of Lord Hoth Competition for August. Things are heating up, 8 of you this month threw in for a chance to take home the Scimitar of Lord Hoth possession!
