Welcome back to another Clan Odan-Urr report. In this issue, we’ll be introducing an exciting new storyline, yeeting planets into new orbits, and showing off some hilarious memes! So throw on your fuzzy socks and spike your cocoa because, without further adieu, I bring you the news...

A strange pulsing came through the terminal when the 3PO droid plugged in. On a typical day, sorting all of the data received through this SeNet hub was nothing more then packaging it by category and forwarding it to the proper outposts for processing. When a discrepancy was detected, it would notify the organics working in the facility. However, this time, the data was so jumbled and incoherent that it panicked and began trying to clear up the signal in any way possible. Operator called out to the two SeNet operatives who had just come onto their shift.

Introducing Illuminance, the newest adventure series for Odan-Urr! In this opening chapter, “Intercepted”, SeNet operatives detect someone is tampering with one of our reconnaissance satellites out past the orbit of Sorilis. We don't know who they are, what they’re after, or why, but it is up to you to get a team together and stop them.

This new event will be broken up into small chapters over the length of the arc. With each new chapter, you’ll meet new characters, new conflicts and be tested on what it means to be an Odanite. To incorporate the “two Houses, one Clan” concept, we’ll be providing opportunities for Consulars and Guardians to work together to accomplish their objectives. Teamwork makes the dream work! Woo hoo!

Dominion/Kiast System Revamp

If you haven’t heard, in Regent Report #3, Anubis detailed plans to create planets, moons, and stars as possessions items that are granted to each of the Clans. With this, he asked for the specifics of each star system. When Turel began to compile those details, he noticed some of the information didn’t add up. So I took a critical look at the system as a whole. Possessing the power of the gods, I moved some things around and made some changes to the system that would put it more in line with what you’d see when you looked through a telescope.

If you have the game Universe Sandbox on Steam, I’ve created (and will continue to work on) the Kiast System. You can subscribe to the workshop item HERE. I’ve even thrown in a few easter eggs (one you’ll see if you scroll all the way out). As time permits, I’ll be working on a “Tour of the Galaxy” sort of video. Looking to have a script and music to go along with a fully narrated tour chock full of lore and other facts. If you’re interested let me know and we can make it happen.

Some of these changes include…

• Orbits are different and more sustainable. Aurek remains in the center of the system with Quelor orbiting very close, but Kiast -> Daleem -> Solyiat have been moved into the habitable zone. Then Suni’s Belt encircles the inner planets with Sorilis further out. Our second star Besh orbits outside of all of it.

• Rotation and Revolutions have been changed to match the new orbits

• Planet temperatures have been tweaked slightly but still align with the original intent during their creation

So what does that all mean? Well, everything orbits Aurek. Quelor is like our Mercury. Kiast, Daleem and Solyiat are within what would be Earth and Mars orbits to allow life to flourish with Solyiat on the outer edge since it’s a snowball. Sorilis, much like our Saturn, hangs out beyond our asteroid belt. Besh all the way out there, plays protector to the system by drawing in all the rogue, world-ending space junk that hurdles through space.

Hello Odan-Urr ,
I was recently appointed as your new Rollmaster! First I would like to thank Revak and the Summit for giving me this opportunity. My name is Bexa and I hope to make you all proud and help you to the best of my ability! While I haven't been around as long as the others; I still will continue to suggest new ideas and help with what's already been established.

Now that introductions are out of the way... let's get down to business!

Master-Student Program
Since RM is in charge of the Master-Student program, let me know if you are an active Master so I know for the future when pairing people up! You can message me or comment on this post.

For those of you that don't know what that is:

Odan-Urr offers all its new members membership in the Master-Student program. If you are interested, I will pair you with a more experienced member of the Clan to help guide you on your path to Knight and beyond. This is not only a great way to get to know the Clan, but it offers a wealth of opportunities. I encourage our younger members to request a Master, and I encourage our more senior members to think about signing up to be a Master. This is just another way to give back to the Clan and help a new person along. If you’d like to sign up, simply send me a message on Telegram or give me an email.

2021 Scimitar of Lord Hoth October results!

If you’re curious where your CON and PCON fall, well here you go… Revak - 1564 and Turel - 1012!

Every month we count all of your Crescents, Clusters, PoBs, Competitions, events run, ACC matches completed, scrolls, and SA activity then calculate the point values using our handy Scimitar of Hoth Point Rules sheet. With something that I can only assume was spawned from pure Dark Side energy, we are able to track all of your scores and maintain a running total of your points through the year. Every January, after we tally up the December results, we then present the member with the highest point total, the Scimitar of Lord Hoth! So the only thing you need to do is just the normal stuff on the site you’d normally do and we’ll take care of the rest. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Revak: “Because you try putting people into some sort of predicament, just to have them escape it with their laser sword or space magic like it wasn't even an issue. My spirit animal has to be a Ysalamir :P

Revak: "Construction is going well. The Houses are settling in nicely. As storylines progress and the Houses continue to build, you'll see a lot of lore begin to roll out over the coming months."

Revak: “We start to build upon the sturdy foundation laid by those who came before us. We have a lot of talent in this clan. Talent I wish to tap to bring us into our own golden age. Our new storyline will make us take a critical look at our characters and their motivations. Roleplay will continue to take center stage as our most successful community event. As we say goodbye to another year and we welcome another, I see this community growing, coming closer together and being the home for others that I've come to know it to be.”
