###INTRODUCTION

Greetings all and welcome to my second report as Proconsul of Clan Plagueis. No fiction for me this month, I'm just going to get down to business. I haven't decided yet whether or not I will try to have a fiction every month or just save them for special occasions like feuds, major awards/promotions, et cetera.

It's been a somewhat busy month for us, at least on the summit. Aabsdu has left us to join the Dark Council as the new MAA and we welcome Vivackus as our new Consul.

Of the four matches remaining in the Fading Light ACC tournament, three involve members fighting for Clan Plagueis. To say I am impressed is an incredible understatement.

###ACC – FADING LIGHT

Like I said above, three of the four matches this round involve members fighting for Plagueis. Though Aabsdu and Selika are no longer members of Plagueis, I believe their matches count towards our clan and Kz'set is still in it. Good luck to all of you.

We have had a great showing in the tournament so far and even though they have not made it to the final rounds, the following members of Plagueis should be praised for their participation and accomplishments.

If I've missed anyone, I apologize. You should all be very proud of yourselves for what you've accomplished in this tournament whether or not you won or made it far, you are an inspiration to others.

###ACC – PRACTICE GROUP

We began our ACC practice group and I am currently in the process of revamping a few ideas for it. Instead of encouraging everyone to challenge everyone else in the group to friendly matches, I have decided to give everyone an incentive. I will be working on establishing clan-wide competitions for the ACC. I am currently deciding on the details for these competitions but, so that we don't fall into a rut, they will be varied and the competition durations will also vary to some degree.

###IRC

IRC has been a staple of the DB since before I joined 13 years ago. It's a place for the members of the DB to gather and discuss any number of topics as well as get together for games and multiplayer matches for all of our gaming platforms. It is also a way for everyone in the clan to get to know each other and become closer so we work better together.

What is the point of this little lesson? Simple. We need a stronger IRC presence. So many of our members do not take advantage of this chat tool.

If you are unfamiliar with IRC, the Shadow Academy has the Department of Communications that has two courses specific to IRC. Our own Tra'an Reith is the professor of this department. I strongly encourage everyone who hasn't already taken the courses that you do so. IRC is a valuable tool. Click here to go to this department and take these courses.

###CONCLUSION

It feels like only yesterday I got the message from Aabs saying he had chosen me for Proconsul and here I am sending out my second report in the position. The clan summit has not been as stable as we would like it to be but that will change. All we need, is you. We may be the leaders of this clan, but without members, we are nothing. I encourage you all to be active in whatever you can. I know that the summer is coming to a close and school is starting up again for some but I encourage you to do what you can. If you have a problem or concern, take it to your direct leadership. Your battleteam leaders, aediles and quaestors are there not just to give you things to do but to help you have a good time here. If you guys aren't happy, then that means we are not doing our jobs and we can't have that.

Communication is key.
