Introduction

Hello there fellow Plagueians. It is time for your regularly scheduled Proconsul Report looking back at the month that was January 2021. We'll be talking a little about the House of Games comp series put on by the Tyranus summit and having a vague but hopefully exciting feud update. We’ll be highlighting competitions for the here and now as well as taking a dive into the news the rest of the club has come up with. As you may have noticed, January has been a fairly quiet month and this will be something of a shorter report to reflect that.

House Of Games & Feud Update

So while broadly speaking January was a quiet month, the Tyranus summit collaborated to bring a short series of comps to us all called Plagueis’ House of Games. These were 4 relatively light comps that ran for just over a week. An encouraging sign from this event was that two of our newer members were able to take part with one of them even splitting the always competitive duo of our Rollmaster and Dread Lord when it came to the top 3 placements. So with that in mind, I’d like to applaud Dillininioh Colk and Sinya Ani for their efforts and hopefully, I find myself having to praise you both more in the future.

Another thing that has been mentioned was the plan for our Feud with COU, I can’t go too in depth, but I wanted to provide a brief summary of where we’re at with that so you’re as up to date as you can be. We’ve got the premise down and have an idea of what we want to do with this both narratively and in terms of the types of competitions we will bring to you. On that front, the pinned message in our [Clan Telegram chat - Log in to view join link] is a poll asking what DB supported games you like to play, we would greatly appreciate your feedback as it will help us in our planning. Now, I can’t say too much more, but signs are encouraging and when we have more to share I’m sure we will.
