A good evening to you all, Sadowans. There are just a couple of things to cover this month. As I am sure you are all doubtlessly aware, we have a Rite of Supremacy that is coming. Seriously, it is right on the horizon. With less than two weeks from the start date of October the 13th. As the Dark Council wants to keep things a bit under wraps, we have not seen too great a deal just yet.

The Master at Arms has announced a lock down on competitions and transfers. This means that, barring any folks returning from the Rogues or new joins, we will not be seeing a change in our numbers starting the sixth of this month. On a more pertinent point, this puts competitions outside of the Vendetta on a hold until we hit the other side of the Vendetta on November 20th. The sign up for brackets have been opened up by the FIST. You can choose from three platforms to compete in: Jedi Academy, Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. I am sure that we will be seeing even more updates in the coming days. Needless to say, I am excited.

Countdown to Vendetta

We have ten days, give or take, before we see the Rite of Supremacy in full swing. We have a real opportunity in this Rite. While we feel short of Third Clan in this last Great Jedi War, I have to point out that it was not by much. This has pretty well proved one big thing as it comes to our Clan. Naga Sadow has fire. Naga Sadow has spirit.

The competition will be quite tight. Everybody will be bringing their A games to the Vendetta. However, this does not take CNS out of the running. Far from it, really. I have seen some excellent content, writing, art and more from our members. I hope to see each of you shine out in the Rite of Supremacy.

We are a team. Trust in each other. Throw your all into everything you do. Go for 100 percent, participating in all bins, and even in all comps if you can manage it. Every participant in the competition is more points that feed fuel into the fire that will see a Naga Sadow win. If we push together, we win together. If we fight, we can stand among the greatest this club has to offer.

Clan News

• Darkhawk presented his first report as the new Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan

• Muz offered some insight into the legacy of his House, explaining the past and differences between Naga Sadow and Marka Ragnos. Well, that and encourage members to to take part in the Dark Flame event.

• Before his move up to Aedile, Darkhawk released an Aedile report for House Shar Dakhan. In it,he shined a light on several of his members and reminded folks we had an incoming Vendetta.

• Kojiro had of course released his own Quaestor’s report for House Marka Ragnos. He chatted up about Dark Flame, the naming of the Ragnosian Fleet Assets and hinted at story developments on a House level as they relate to the refined direction for Sadow.

• Ashia brought a brief Proconsul’s report to encourage folks about events, comps and the now-fast-oncoming Vendetta

• Our Rollmaster released a report highlighting awards and member competitions

Reports and News In The Club At Lage

• Dracaryis has released both a report and a supplemental I highly suggest you give a read. Some good stuff to know, and some it pertains directly to the upcoming Rite of Supremacy.

• There is the aforementioned competition and transfer hold announcement dropped by our Panda at Arms.

• The Praetor to the Fist put up a report which talked about, among other things, gaming Pendants of Blood and Warframe support.

• A lengthy report dropped from the Wiki Tribune, talking about Features and disambiguation. Oh, and this one also made mention of the recent Sapphire Blade earned by our own Morax Darkblade. The dude has done some serious work on the Wiki, worth the kudos.

• Evant talked about item upgrades, a slight change in staff, creatures, coats and the Dark Council Order of Battle.

• Howie released his monthly report, announcing the selection of a new Magistrate, medals of note, promotions of note, some good to know info on fixing issues with competitions and a few other small things.

• The Grand Master announced the elevation of Atra Ventus to the ranks of Elder.

• The first chapter of the Collective Arc, Counterpoints was dropped by the Voice.

Ongoing Competitions of Note

• Morax Darkblade and Xuner Holst are running a series of comps revolving around the Shroud Syndicate. It gives you an opportunity to take part in a flash game, fiction, graphics and a bit of trivia.

• There is a two week series of comps being run for Halloween for those of you who want to get your spook on before the Rite.

• Speaking of spooky, there is also a graphics comp where you can design a Halloween mask.

Parting Words
