In case you missed it, the SARLACC ACC competition results are here. We had 30 unique participants from all seven clans complete 38 matches to judgment (81% completion rate). So again, congrats to Alaisy on the win and a special thank you to the ACC staff and Ciara for making this event possible.
The SARLACC competition is a perfect example of how the ACC can be a tool to drive member engagement and fictional development of a unit or DC office. In this case, it was fictional engagement with the Shadow Academy. Ciara and Erinyes approached me with an idea to run a competition and the ACC staff worked to make their vision happen. I helped put things into the system and made some tweaks but it was very much a Shadow Academy event. They wrote the venues, they vetted the creature list and they wrote the overall rules (with some input from me).
SARLACC is a great example of some outside-the-box thinking on ACC events. Using creatures in the match scenarios and then giving members the flexibility to come up with creature enhancements resulted in some exceptionally creative and entertaining matches. I highlight all of this to hopefully put the idea in the back of your mind that the ACC can be a great tool for your unit or DC office!
Coop, Vs, custom venues, scenarios, NPCs, if you have an idea for a way to use the ACC format to enhance your event or fictional development don’t hesitate to bring it to me. One of my major goals as CM is to make the ACC as user-friendly as possible for people to use. Let me and the rest of the staff help make your idea a reality.
The list of ACC venues to hold battles in is in need of a serious update. There are so many locations in recent canon movies, TV shows, books, and even DB events that would make excellent ACC venues.
So, the ACC needs your help! If you have some ideas for venues click the form below as many times as you like!
We also need volunteers to help with drafting the venues. This is a great way to help shape the future of the ACC while building up for that next big award or promotion. Join the venue team today by emailing Turel!
That’s all for now. The next big ACC event will be a championship bracket sometime later summer or early fall (seperate from and taking place after the upcoming vendetta) so keep your blades sharp!

So. Many. Venues.
SARLACC was a really great event and I'd be happy to see more outside the box stuff like that in the future. I also wonder if more co-op oriented stuff would be popular, given how gaming has shifted so much from pvp to pve.
Get in the speeder, loser. We're going to [venue].
