CON Report #17: FEUD!!!
Odanites,
Another month gone and now a feud is upon us! This month’s report will be shorter than usual since we have plenty of things to do for the feud, but most importantly it will include one of my handy guides to the war. Additionally, we have Scimitar of Hoth results for February, some shoutouts, some welcomes to new Odanites, and in general good stuff. Let’s dive in!
FEUD: Episode II: The Myrkr Crusade!
The feud is finally here! In fact we are almost a week in. I hope you’ve all had a chance to look over the competitions so far. We’ve made a bunch of different options and we’re excited to see what wonderful things you all create. Even more exciting is that this is a feud with more than just honor on the line. The victor gets to keep the artifact and we can’t let Plagieus have it. And artifact aside, we lost last time and now we get another chance Let’s show them what we’ve got!
To help you do that, I’ve put together a wonderful feud guide, but first I’ll catch up those that haven’t looked into the story yet.

Odan-Urr vs Plagueis Feud Guide Part I
I’ve taken the time to put together a quick guide for the feud so far below. A recommended way to hit the bins and thus get full participation will be in italics. Remember to hit at least one competition in each of the bins below, but if you want to do more the better! Hopefully you find this useful and good luck!
Event Long Gaming Bin
- Cluster Race: This is a straight cluster race. Play a game with an Odanite or Plagiean. Simple and easy. Remember to use DBGaming to set up all your matches!
- Web Game: This is a flash game, playable on any windows laptop or PC. This is a great option if you don’t have any video games or none that the club gives points for.
Event Long Fiction Bin
- Multi-Objective Fiction: This is a cooperative fiction competition where you get to tell your character’s personal story. Get together with either Odanites or Plageians and have fun writing. Pay close attention to the rules for how to submit for this one as we need proof of your work as well. If for some reason you can not write with others, there is a single player option but it means you’ll have to do all the work. We highly encourage you to group up and write a story together. ^^
Phase 1 Fiction Bin
- Campfire Story: This is a lighthearted fiction event. Tell a tall tale, embellish, and throw in some rumors. Tell us a great story about Plagieus and remember to break out the smores while you do so.
- Poetry: People tell stories about objects too, often in symbolism like poetry. Create at least a two stanza poem in your chosen form (haiku, limerick, etc..). Simple as that. For a refresher, the DB poetry class.
Phase 1 Graphics/Multimedia Bin
- 2D art: This is a straightforward graphics competitions where you draw the artifact both clans are going after.
- 3D art: Same mission as the 2D one, but this time use real world materials.
- Echoes of the Past: This is a unique competition where you create a tablet/scroll of old forgotten wisdom from past searches for the artifact. This can be digital or traditional means like paper.
Phase 1 Miscellaneous Bin
- Meme: Make us a meme, preferably feud themed.
- Puzzle: Puzzle time.
- Word Search: Basic word search. Circle the words and send us what you got!
- Trivia: Trivia to get your brain thinking. Fun facts. ^^
That’s it for now. Remember the italic competitions are just suggestions. Do what you’ll have the most fun with!
2021 Scimitar of Lord Hoth results!
We are back once again to present our most active member with the coveted Scimitar of Lord Hoth. This last month had 23 participants who put up some strong competition. Well done, my friends! To those who placed in the top 6, very well done. I was particularly happy to see some new faces join the group. That’s why this competition is great. People doing things together. <3
