Odanites,
March has passed. Our feud with Plagueis is over and we are busy grading. As such this report will be shorter and we will put out a feud specific report later this month with full results. Till then, we do have some news we’d like to share with you all! We’ll have some Scimitar of Hoth results for March, some shoutouts, some welcomes to new Odanites, and in general good stuff. Let’s dive in!
First, I’d like to thank everyone who participated in the feud. On behalf of the summit, we really appreciated each and every entry. It’s been a long time since we’ve had one of these and I hope you all had a lot of fun. We tried a lot of new things this go around, to include a two phase approach and a bins system that gave you all a lot of variety to choose from. But in the end this was all to give you more opportunities to do things together, not only with your fellow Odanites but with some fellow DB members who are pretty cool as well. I’ll have a full feud report for you later but for now I’ll just say that grading is going well and we are on track. Our goal is to give results as soon as we can but they must be accurate. Till then, you guys rock!
We were happy to see the teamwork and drive you all had during our feud against Plagueis. That teamwork is what gets us through those big events, wins us wars and allows us to show the other Clans that the only light/gray Clan in the Brotherhood is a formidable opponent. It also goes beyond that. Odan-Urr is a family. We look out for each other. Push each other to do better and to be better people. Yeah we fight sometimes, but it should never take away from the reason we’re all here. This is a group of Star Wars fans. We talk about it. Write about it. Draw it. Game it. Star Wars is what we do. This Club has allowed us to live out the fantasy of being a part of that fictional world.
That being said, unity is one of our strongest assets. So keep looking out for each other. If you haven’t heard from a member in a while, it doesn’t hurt to check in. If you have some free time and want to do some gaming, reach out to see if there are other Odanites who would like to play as well. Want to do some roleplaying but don’t want to wait for our weekend event? We have text channels for that! Do you have friends who would love us? Get them to join. Everything is more fun as a group!
We are back once again to present our most active member with the coveted Scimitar of Lord Hoth. This last month had 26 participants who put up some strong competition. Well done, my friends! To those who placed in the top 6, very well done.To those that didn’t place this time, know that each month adds up and we have 9 more months to go. This is a long-term game. That’s why this competition is great. A whole year with plenty of opportunities for people doing things together. <3
So without further ado let’s get to the results!
Everyone join me in congratulating our March winner, Essik Lyccane, as well as our runner-ups who placed in the competition!
In addition, I’d like to give you your current top 10 overall for the year. This is both something for everyone to shoot for and to give them kudos. Also it warms my Consul heart to see the variety of members in this list from young to old to leader to not leader. :)
Name | Total Points (Year so far) |
---|---|
Essik Lyccane | 644 |

So question for you all. Would you all like to play an extra game with this and see who can beat the PCON and CON? I usually don’t publish these numbers but if there is enough interest I’d be willing to make it interesting, like maybe get something nice with our clan credits. Let me know in the comments.
We would like to welcome you to our family. :)
Several Odanites did exemplary work during this last month, whether it be competitions, Shadow Academy or something else. As such, I’ve dedicated this section to their excellent efforts for the Clan. Please take a moment to look over the triumphs of Odan-Urr and congratulate your fellow Odanites.

It is my absolute pleasure to announce the following promotions. Please join us in congratulating your fellow Odanites for their recent accomplishments...
By the way, we plan to do an award/promo sweep after we finish grading the feud results so check out the competitions page to see if there is anything you like there. ^^

What are you most looking forward to over the next few months?
Aura:
I am most looking forward to developing our stories further. Given that the Rite of Supremacy is coming up in a few months that makes it hard to do official events but we can still push our storylines in clan/house competitions, roleplays, lore development, etc…. We’ve already started chats at the summit level as to what the rest of the year looks like but if any of you have ideas my door is always open.
Of particular note, it’s been a long while since we had a peacekeeping mission and I really want to start exploring less violent avenues in addition to what we have already. This is an idea from several Odanites that’s kinda like doctors without borders. I think it could really round us out a lot more since not everyone swung around a weapon to help. And helping people is kinda our schtick.
Revak:
I agree with what Aura has already stated above. I love lore. I’m looking forward to Clan, House and Battleteam stories kicking back off and seeing what lore gets developed.
What is your favorite part of COU lore and what part(s) do you wish were more developed?
Revak:
We have always done a great job of developing our home planets. New Tython was fleshed out in such a way that you really had a sense of where everything was, who inhabited what and the flora and fauna that also made it their home. I’d like to make this a focus in the future. We have a lot of worlds in the Kiast system and developing them to such a degree that members can interact with each unique biome, it’s inhabitants, economies and wildlife so that they feel drawn to and want to develop their characters further while in those biomes, would make current lore something members could have a more vested interest in. Maps help. Lets make some maps too as we go along.
Aura:
To add onto Revak’s excellent answer, we have some ripe opportunities for this. Daleem has some interesting potential as it currently stands, but hasn’t really been touched recently. It has had some significant wiki updates, kudos to Moro, for those who last looked a long while ago (such lovely pictures too). But that said, Revak is right. A lot of lore is ripe for development or a second look. More specifically we need some more detailed locations and stories that go along with them to tie it all together.
As to my favorite part of COU lore, personally I’m a sucker for anything Force related or exploring mysteries. These include special Force crystals, old temples, Jedi academies, Force mysteries, mysterious tunnels and really out there geographical things to explore.
Thanks for reading the April Clan report. We’ll have a follow up feud specific report coming out soon hopefully, which will have final results from our big event with Plagueis. Again, I want to state how much we appreciate all the time and energy you have put into this event. I’ve heard a lot of good feedback so far from you all and it sounds like you all have been enjoying it. It’s an absolute pleasure to put these together for you and to see you all come together as a team for them. Now that the feud is over, a reminder that we are back into our normal flow of events and that I highly encourage you to rejoin us for our community events and to hang out with your fellow Odanites and db members. Make as many new friends as you can and let’s star wars together. :)

I'd just like to say one thing how in the world am I in the top ten at the moment? When I first joined the DJB I figured "yeah sure a group of star wars fans," never did I expect to become so active here, never did I expect to make so many good friends so thank you for having me I look forward to many more years here to the point where I can be considered a senior member. It's only been about six months here but it feels like I've found a new family here.
