Odanites,
Today’s report is a bittersweet moment. I am overjoyed to provide you all with a promised post feud fiction, a feud survey, a new peacekeeping event, a metric ton of recent awards you all have earned, April Scimitar results, and the usual goodness. But this will also be my last report as your Consul. In short, I’ve decided this is the right moment to pass the torch and rejoin you all as a regular member. I’ll go into more details below but for now let me just say it has been an honor and a privilege to serve you all as your Consul. Let’s dive into it all one last time with our favorite newscaster. :)
It is my absolute pleasure to provide you all with a post event fiction for Episode II: The Myrkr Crusade. Liandry Cataa and I worked hard to put this together for you and I hope you enjoy it. Per the usual Odan-Urr way, there are many bits in the fiction where your characters have been inserted into the story so keep an eye out for your character’s name! In addition, where possible we incorporated feud entries in the final fiction as well. Finally, we tried something new this time around and took a page out of Arcona’s book. I asked each of the top 3 war heros a vague question and their answers played an impact in how the final story played out. This was a fun experiment that I think led to a really fun creative end product. Their questions are below along with their answers in bold. What they didn’t know is the context, which I’ve included in parentheses.
To First Feud Hero: “Take them Home” OR “Leave them there” -- (do we grab other artifacts while inside the temple)
To Second Feud Hero: "Get off my lawn OR "Please go" -- (Neti approach to telling us to go home)
To Third Feud Hero: “a lot” OR “average” OR “only what is needed” -- (Amount of Ysalamiri brought back home for security)
With that said here is the finale fiction for The Myrkr Crusade!
Subterranean levels
Siji Sing Dipengini Temple
Forests of Myrkr
39 ABYA lone Odanite of towering stature stood inside a pitch dark room, the only light coming from his lightsaber. Spirals of dust could be seen in its glow as the long undisturbed air played with the small breeze flowing through the room. A small stone table of artifacts could also be seen next to an empty box, centuries of dust of cobwebs partially obscuring some of the objects. There was a small blue stone that almost looked like a natural gem, a green crystal that easily stood upright as if purposely flattened on the bottom, a smooth ornate jewel with an artistic amethyst eye embedded inside it, a red stone with a carved rune attached to a necklace, and a stack of flat slabs of stone altogether forming the shape of a worn stone. Ka Tarvitz stood in front of them pensievely, not making a sound. His heart was racing. The Jensaarai couldn’t tell if that was the real Desired One playing with him or his excitement due to the faint similarities to other artifacts he had already set his heart on. Which one should he choose?
For the full fiction, you can find it here in our COU Holocron.
Did you read it? You totally should. In either case, I’ve also provided you all a tldr:
I hope you all enjoy the fiction we put together for you and that you found your character in the fiction. Remember that if you have any lore questions, feel free to ask your fellow Odanites! We also have this lovely Odan-Urr lore guide that while out of date is still very useful.
Next, your summit would really like to get your input on our recent clan vendetta with Plagueis. Therefore we’ve provided you all an anonymous survey. We’d greatly appreciate it if you took some time to fill it out. Your feedback will inform future decisions we make when it comes to clan vendettas so I highly encourage you all to take this survey. Make your voices heard and tell us what you’d like to see more of!
Episode II: The Myrkr Crusade Survey
Lastly, I’d again like to thank everyone who participated in the feud. It meant a lot to me.
Change is never an easy thing. Especially after the two years of growth and prosperity that we have been basking in. Aura, you’ve brought us to the place we are today. Never faltering on your vision of Odan-Urr, your dedication, energy, constant bombardment of charts, data and doge memes have brought together this group of lightsiders into a community of friends and allies.
On behalf of the Members of Odan-Urr, I’d like to thank you for everything you’ve done for us.
Elyon rallied the team to present this to you, as our token of appreciation. Take this time now to relax and rediscover the joys of being a regular member. Relish the Odan-Urr that you have created. You’ve earned it.
I’m happy to announce that while we wait for the next RoS to kick off, we’ve provided you all another Peacekeeper event to try out that also helps build some lore for the clan. This time we changed things up to focus on aspects of peacekeeping/good guy stuff that is more in the nonviolent realm. Check out the prompt below and the competitions that go with it. Even better, check out the Rollmaster’s report for an event guide!
It was at the height of Clan Odan Urr growth and expansion, the Clan had acquired a Haven-class Medical Station. Still new to the fleet, many of the kinks, quirks, and routines have not been worked out. Together, medical personnel, diplomats, tradesmen, engineers, and laborers work tirelessly to bring the leviathan to life, to give the station purpose. Yet unbeknownst to the potential crew, during the awakening, a crisis has arisen. One that requires subtlety over military might. A virus is spreading, known as the Nox Virus. For reasons unknown, symptoms are more severe at night and create respiratory issues that are reminiscent of symptoms caused by prolonged exposure to atmospheric pollutants. The Galaxy is in need of a hero. Will it be you Odanite?
This is a great opportunity for all your characters to help people with skills that aren’t straight up combat or better yet preventing conflict from breaking out in the first place. You also get the opportunity to build the lore of our medical station from the big picture to the personal spaces. I highly encourage you all to participate in these competitions if you like this sort of concept, since we will be using this to gauge interest in the general idea. Good luck!
Hope your May the Fourth celebrations were fun and plenty of Blue Milk flowed. In recognition of contributions made to the Club, Evant gave a few members their Elder promotions as well as awarded members Seals of Loyalty for their continued dedication to the community. Here are our Clan recipients. Congratulations and well done!
Takota Okami has been elevated to the Elder 1!
Gui Sol, Alethia Archenksova, Revak Kur, Essik Lycanne and Elyon de Neverse has been awarded Seals of Loyalty!
We are back once again to present our most active member with the coveted Scimitar of Lord Hoth. This last month had 23 participants who put up some strong competition. Well done, my friends! To those who placed in the top 6, very well done.To those that didn’t place this time, know that each month adds up and we have 8 more months to go. This is a long-term game. That’s why this competition is great. A whole year with plenty of opportunities for people doing things together. <3
So without further ado let’s get to the results!
Everyone join me in congratulating our April winner, Ira Ojiman, as well as our runner-ups who placed in the competition!
In addition, I’d like to give you access to the Current Standings. It will be updated in our Clan Holocron at the close of the monthly competition so take a look and see who’s score you can beat.
So the last report we asked for whether you want to see the CON and PCON scores. We were busy in April so we’re a little embarrassed to reveal our scores for the month, however here is where Aura (595.5) and Revak (541) stand for the year so far!
We would like to welcome you to our family. :)
Several Odanites did exemplary work during this last month, whether it be competitions, Shadow Academy or something else. As such, I’ve dedicated this section to their excellent efforts for the Clan. Please take a moment to look over the triumphs of Odan-Urr and congratulate your fellow Odanites.

I remember when I was a younger Consul and I had this whole section planned out. I knew exactly what to say somehow even though I knew so little still. Now as an older Consul, I find this section hard to write. I guess it’s fitting. Consul has been an unforgiving teacher and I’ve learned a lot since my first day. What appeared to be so black and white is usually always a lot more complicated shades of gray. Nevertheless, I always wanted to use my stepping down report to pass along key lessons I’ve learned the hard way or was right about since day one. These are things that over time have always stayed black and white for the most part, at least from what I’ve observed. So without further ado, here are some key lessons the job of Consul and past Consuls have mercilessly beat into me. I’d tried my best as Consul to embed these in Odan-Urr’s leadership culture so apologies if you’ve heard some of these already, but I hope they help in any leadership challenge.
I think I’ll stop there for now. I could honestly keep going. I do have some things that I’ve saved for last though as some final pieces of advice.
That’s all I’ll stuff in this report, if you want more you know where to find me, so I’ll end this section by saying once more how much of a privilege it's been to serve as your Consul. This position was a lot of work and inconvenient hours, but it was worth every minute. We did some really awesome things together and I’m so proud of what you have all accomplished personally and as a team. I’m incredibly excited to join you all on the roster as a regular member and look forward to doing some more amazing stuff with you all. Thank you for all the time and effort you gave into the Clan while I was Consul. Your support will always be remembered. May the Force be with you.
Drac asks: Any regrets? Two years is a long stint in any position.
Aura:
Definitely. And thankfully Consul was very unforgiving to mistakes, so it taught plenty of lessons! A few key ones stick out to me though. First, to be more patient. This took many repeated lessons to understand how to use this while keeping people accountable still. Second, start teaching your future clan leaders right away. I could have perhaps moved on from Consul earlier if I had. Third, I wish I would have been a better team player earlier on. I’d like to think that I’ve greatly improved in this area since my early days, but I’ll have to ask those who work with me what they think. Regardless, I am still working hard to continually improve it. Past CONs have told me more regrets/”I should have done this” moments will hit me in the future.
Gui asks: What approach would you like to see the new Summit take? What did you wish you did, but didn’t?
Essik asks: In light of the past few years, what advice would you offer to those expecting to take up your role, or similar leadership positions?
Aura:
This one is nicely covered by my section called passing the torch. :)
Ira/Donny asks:
What was your favorite event to run?
What are your future goals?
Will you take time to rest? Or do you have plans for the future already?
How do you intend to put up with Revak and Gui now that you won't have direct control over them?
Aura
[1] My favorite event to run was the [COU-PLA] Clan Vendetta simply because I got to provide a really fun event for you all and it used the full bins system, which I found a joy to implement and execute. The event felt really special and a lot of great energy went into its creation.
[2] My more immediate future goals are to do an awesome job for Evant as his M:GM and to help Odan-Urr as an exemplary member in both comps and eventually some projects.
[3] I will be taking a break and Revak has already promised to enforce it. XD
[4] Hmm..still formulating that. I supposed I’ll start by nagging my leaders when I don’t get a report to read on time or enough things to do. :)
Elyon asks:
Looking back, what are you most proud of during your time as Consul of the COU?
If you could change your mind and not become Consul, would you do it?
What would you recommend to clan members if they faced a similar decision (to become a member of the leadership)?
Aura
[1] I am most proud of the community events project. It took a lot of work and the cooperation of a whole clan over a long period of time to get in the habit of continually building up our community. We have room for improvement but I think the project worked out really well for us and more importantly it makes people happy.
[2] I absolutely loved Consul. I would not take it back.
[3] I would recommend that they try it out, but I would also ask them how much do you care about the unit or position? Leadership can be a lot of work but when you care about something it’s a lot of fun to do.
Bubba/DGM asks: you've held every house and clan summit position. Now that you're stepping down from CON, which job (if any) do you think you'd like to do again in the future?
Aura
I’d be game to do any of them or mentor others in them, but my favorite dream retirement position is BTL. Long ago I was the BTL of Stingray in the EHDB and those small team moments were absolutely magical. This is actually a feeling I wanted to bottle up and capture in community events, which I think they do. Regardless, it’s always been a dream to one day take all my accumulated experience and apply it to BTL.
Arch asks: What was your favorite part of the job and why was it when I would PM you long rants as an unemployed title holder?
Aura
You know I really enjoyed making events for the Clan. Whether it was peacekeeping events or Seven Pillars or the feud. I always thought this answer would be community events, which also scores very high with me, but making fun events for everyone wins out in the end by just a bit.
As to the rants, they were kinda weak. low 1000 on the scouter.
Celevon asks:
Where do you see yourselves going from this point in your DB career?
Are you off to set up the rocking chair/hammock of retirement, semi-retirement or just taking a > break?
Aura
I’d like to get some more DB experience at other levels at some point but for now I’m content to take a well deserved break.
Thanks for reading my final Clan report. It was an honor and privilege to serve all of you as your Consul. I won’t be going anywhere but rather I’ll be joining all of you as a regular member once more. I’m incredibly excited for all the great adventures we’ll get into together. For Odan-Urr!

Thank you for all your service to COU, we really lucked out the day we stole you from CSP.
Piece of advice: Finding a place post-CON can be almost as hard as CON itself. You're so used to being keyed up all the time, working hard for the members, putting out fires, making key decisions that the relative quiet of regular membership can be almost deafening. Rest up for a few weeks and be ready to help rally the troops for the RoS.
Blade, I'd like to thank you for everything you have done for us. You have been a caring and loyal friend, a passionate leader, and a level-headed mentor. You have been the driving force behind all of us and in turn you've made us all better. I'm sincerely going to miss you as Consul, but I know there are great things in your future. Dont worry, we wont break too much!!
Excellent report as usual, Blade. Thank you for all you've done and enjoy some time to sharpen your saber and drink rancor tequilla freely.
You've done an amazing job as CON for Odan Urr! Take a rest, you've more than earned it!
So I just watched that surprise video Elyon de Neverse coordinated with all the stuff all you Odanites put into it. Just want you all to know you made me cry in a good way. Thanks so much for it. I really appreciated it. You guys are the best!
@Revak @Archenksov Sha7k/Ruti @Benn_Nevis @Bexa @EdgarDrachen_DGC @ElyondeNeverse @Zeon_Blacktooth @Donny_DJB @LenEode @Sulon and anyone else I missed.
good report and good win against Plagueis
Excellent report and excellent work on the past 2 years. We wouldn't be who we are without your time at the head of the council.
The only advice I can give echos Turels. Take your time back as a member. It's hard to reacclimate being just a normal dudette and you need a break to avoid burnout. Take a breather and come back rested for the RoS. As usual be ready to still be a guiding light for people when they need it. COUs strength is its community and support for one another. That strength comes from the ordinary peeps who are just here for one another.
Welcome to the retired Con couch, Blade. We have soft blankets and cookies and canes to wave. Rest now. You did good.
Thanks everyone.
Turel and Takota, appreciate the advice. also agree 100%
Dear Aura, even though I am a member of the Clan Odan-Urr for a short time, I know that you have been a great leader who has always been able to motivate and support us.
It has been an honor to serve under your leadership and thank you for everything you have done for me and the clan.
You are an amazing person and a greatest leader in my opinion!
Excellent closing words, Blade. Thank you for remaining Odan-Urr's leader for so long, and so often offering such extensive answers as these.
