It has been a bit since my last report and I will make this one a bit short and cover some bases and perhaps a rant. First, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Pro Bowl. I hope you all had as fun participating as we did running it. Slagar, Bentre, and Shadow were great to work worth on even creation and grading. We tried to keep things quick and easy for maximum fun and I truly believe we hit our goal. I won’t lie in that I was hoping for a little better turnout from the Clan but I understand life gets in the way. Thank you for those that participated and maybe next time for those that didn’t.

As most of you are aware, due to real-life Farrin has stepped down as Quaestor of House Wren. I want to thank him for all he did for Vizsla first as Aedile and the Quaestor serving Wren for over a year. Instead of the normal application process, I reached out to Kanal and he accepted the position of Quaestor. He has big plans, which will be covered later, and has done exactly what I knew he would. Jump in with both feet and has been continuing to pile on the activity. I look forward to continuing to work with him as he brings all those plans to fruition.

The Clan was tasked with putting pen to paper and quantifying the Vizsla domain. We added several planets to the system as well as several moons. These are going to be turned into more detail as we get them set up on the Clan Wiki. (Does anyone want a project?) These planets and moons will be used in future events and storylines and cover most Biomes found in the star wars galaxy. You can view the draft here: Vizsla Domain

I could have said rant but it really isn’t one. Think of it more as the ramblings of a mad man. In this report, I want to focus on leadership and specifically members applying for positions in other clans. The short answer is if you are interested apply. There will be no talk of members being traitors for taking positions in other units. No disparaging remarks or questions about members’ loyalty. Loyalty is to the Club first. No Club, no Clans, end of the story. Would I appreciate a heads up that you are applying? Yes, I would. Will I discourage you from applying? No, I will not.

Apply for all the things. Ask me for help or a recommendation. I am here for you, not the other way around. If I have a position open in Vizsla and you apply from outside this Clan your application will receive the same consideration as one inside. This Club needs good leaders and hoarding talent behind veils of loyalty only hurts all of us in the long run. I may have a different viewpoint since I have been in over half the current clans and a couple of inactive units as well. So I tend to look at the big picture. That picture is always putting the best people in positions they can excel because the stronger the leaders are the better the Brotherhood is.
