Odanites,
I hope you all had a great November. Some highlights in this report include some big news for you all, some requests, and as a teaser you won’t want to miss out on. Make sure you click on it.. I’m also happy to say that we have a full summit again and I’m super excited to get to work with them. Roll the tape!
Recently, you may have seen my news update to the group but just in case you didn’t I’m happy to announce that we have several new leaders as part of your hard working summit.
Whether they be new or old, I’ll simply state that I’m excited to see what they have in store for you all. That said, I have a teaser I can share with you as well as a request. First, you should all have received an email from Liam. Please check your inboxes if you haven’t done so already and leave some feedback, even if it’s ‘less emails please’. Did you do it? Yes? Good, now onto the teaser of some things to come. Click the picture below to see what we have in store for you. :)
I’m thrilled to say that our event awards from the Rite of Supremacy have finally been completed in all its beautiful glory. To mention the elephant in the room, yes it took a very long time. Is anyone, and I mean anyone, happy about that? No. I’ve talked to the right people about the issue and they’re working to fix it. All that’s left is for us to enjoy our special Odan-Urr items we earned for our stellar past performance. And can I just say they look rather sexy. A special thanks for Vyr to completing the artwork for it.
New Saber Pike!: This is our weapon skin we were granted. As a clan we voted for a lightsaber pike. Of special note, see the aurebesh text etched into the hilt that reads ‘Never Again.’
New Odan-Urr Dog Tags!: This is our item skin we were granted. As a clan we voted for COU identification tags. The semi-transparent beauties are are not only in clan colors but stylish as well.
This last month we started a larger group runon that has a lot of promise for in-character interactions. In short, a bunch of us wanted to write our Jedi on an adventure together, particularly our younger ones but adults are playing along as well. It takes place at the Praxeum and involves saving a lonely gizka named Frank. Now as per usual, at least one character wants to eat it but it’s okay. Frank has some champions on his side.
Check it out here and come join us!
That said, this isn’t the only group runon we can do. Just let us know what you want to write together and we’ll write it together. I want to see more group fiction between you all, time permitting, and we want to help you do that. As anyone on the summit for help finding a writing partner and we will hook you up. You can also do this nice fiction survey if you haven’t yet already. :)
Take the Writing Buddy Survey!
These are going pretty regularly now. Giving this a shoutout to say feel free to reach out to me if you have ideas for things you’d like to do but you don’t have anyone to do them with yet. Every week we announce the next set of events in advance and who to reach out to if you have any questions. I highly recommend that you come join us and if you can’t make it, that’s okay. Grab a buddy, go do something together, and let the rest of us know if you’re open to more people.
Also, we need some more event volunteers so if you think you can host an event a particular weekend, please reach out me. Hosters are highly appreciated and will be reflected on future shinies and promotions!!
Several Odanites did exemplary work during this last month, whether it be competitions, Shadow Academy or something else. As such, I’ve dedicated this section to their excellent efforts for the Clan. Please take a moment to look over the triumphs of Odan-Urr and congratulate your fellow Odanites.

We have a few in progress with more to come in the future. If you have an idea of a project you’d like to complete, reach out to me. :)
This is getting some extra special attention now that a new RM and PCON has been hired. Stay tuned for future reports on updates for this!
We’ll be looking more into the creation of a force to fill roles like police officers, local troops, criminal investigations, fire protection/prevention personnel, rescue personnel, immigration control, medical personnel, and medical investigative services for both routine and crisis situations. Contact Len Iode for more details.
This list will change over time so if you want to get in on some project work just let one of your leaders know. My door is always open. We don’t have all the good ideas and you get cool shinies/promotions for helping out the clan!
Now that December is underway there are a few things coming up I haven’t mentioned yet that I’d like you all to know about.
Essik Asks: “Given some of the more recent pushes for story arcs of late, especially involving the Quorahi, may I ask if you will be emphasising world-shattering or small scale events for the next possible narratives? Also, do you have any further thoughts on how to promote coalitions within events or for the benefits of being part of one?”
Aura: Great questions. For the first question, I am a big fan of the standard narrative arc. The storyline should build up to a climax and then have a resolution. I think that requires both small scale events and at least one bigger impact. That said, I also think it’s important to point out that Odan-Urr has a lot of potential threads we can pull that already exist in and out of the system.
For the second question, I’d love to sit here and say you just have to use them more. To be fair, the judge is still out on them and I think Sunrider’s current competitions are a great use of the varying points of view a team can take to accomplish the same goal. And ultimately coalitions represent just that. But as they stand now, I think coalitions are too complicated and it makes them hard to engage with effectively. I just haven’t had the time to focus on it and I don’t think I’m the best person to solve it. That said, I’ll be leveraging the fiction skills of my new summit additions pretty heavily. In the meanwhile, write the coalitions that interest you and ask someone to join you. Runons have a lot of potential here.
Xantros Asks: “What is your favourite space creature?”
Aura: Thranta captures my imagination more than the others. It’s the coolest planetary motorcycle.
Ronovi Asks: “Dark side is superior. True or false? ;)”
Aura: May the Force be with you. You’re going to need it.
Tisto Asks: “Where did you hide the cheese-its? Every hour you don't tell me leads to the death of a youngling.”
Aura: Revak owns the key to your snacks. Also, you also are probably in time out for that bad language.
Revak Asks: “What did you do with the remote to Tisto's shock collar? He keeps begging for food.”
Aura: On the high shelf where he can't reach. (See, this is why you don’t go after younglings.)
That’s it for today’s report. I hope you are excited for the teaser (click the image) as well as the RoS Awards and how they look. Our awards turned out really well. Also, keep an eye out for more details in the teaser in the December PCON report. Also, light Life Day/ Odan-Urr birthday competitions will be a thing. Also, please provide your feedback to Liam. He’s a kind older Jedi and he can’t see properly. I’ll give you an ‘assisting the elderly’ badge. ;P And lastly, remember to stay safe during these upcoming holidays. Thanks for reading this report.
