Building a Bright Future
Welcome to my second Rollmistress report! I can’t believe I’ve had the privilege to bombard everyone with Zeltron hugs for about 2 months now. It’s been a lot of fun so far and I am pleased to bring you all another doge-tastic report. There is plenty of good stuff but first a teaser mini-fiction of something that is being worked on. :)

Aura looked out over the vast mountainous landscape, watching as the final stages of construction began in earnest. Most of what they needed was already there, but a few additional buildings had to be constructed. It was finally coming together. Even the construction crew had a renewed vigor, the crisp, clean mountain air soothing under the midday sun.
The Rollmistress wanted to help them out, but she knew she would just get in their way. She had kept herself busy over the last few weeks by overseeing the quality control and helping out those who didn’t mind her assistance. She wanted every detail to be wonderfully breathtaking. Its simplicity and charm would more than make up for any lack of grandeur. The Zeltron perched herself on a large rock and sighed, thinking back to her arrival in Odan-Urr.
How did I get so lucky?
She watched the workers below diligently over the next few days or so, comlink at the ready just in case. Odd shaped pieces were fitted together, each piece building on top of one another. The sounds of their tools banging and scraping against metal were oddly soothing. First there was a frame, then walls, and finally the final construction of the interior and roof. These would be units for family housing mostly, and Aura hoped it would be everything it promised. After all, she planned to live there. A voice disrupted her thoughts.
“Ma’am. It’s ready for a preliminary inspection.”
“I’ll be right there.” The Zeltron resisted running down the uneven ground and made her way to the construction site by speeder. She parked it a few meters away from everything and slowly walked towards the foreman as she examined the new building.
“It’s still not done yet but the essentials are there. What do you think?” asked the man.
Aura peered into its windows and walked around it with a smile on her face as her eyes looked at what it would become. “It’ll be perfect. I look forward to its completion. How soon?”
”Eh...a few more weeks. Still on schedule though. That’s something. I think they’ll like it.”
Aura glanced upward at a tall spire to her right. Some said the Jedi would never return. Some said their way of life was nothing but a hokey religion. But they were all wrong. The Jedi were still young but their sprouts would one day grow into mighty trees. As Rollmistress, she would ensure that bright future one building at a time.
“They’ll love it.”

Master-Student Program
Odan-Urr offers all its new and returning members membership in the Master-Student program. If you are interested, I will pair you with a more experienced member of the Clan to help guide you on your path to Knight and beyond. This is not only a great way to get to know the clan, but it offers a wealth of fictional opportunities. I encourage our younger members to request a master, and I encourage our more senior members to think about signing up to be a Master. This is just another way to give back to the Clan and help a new person along. If you’d like to sign up, simply send me a message on Telegram or give me an email!

Currently Active
- New Jedi Praxeum Development: Things are underway! Construction has begun and I look forward to our new Jedi school. It is still very much in progress but I’ll tell everyone now that I am very excited about it. If you haven’t read my report fiction up top teasing this project, go do it! Did you read it? Good. Since this is still in progress, if you are interested in this project and would like to help out, I am accepting more helpers. This would also count as a project for those that need more of that, such as our Knights and Equites. Look forward to another update in my next report. My goal is to have some more teasers then. Until then, enjoy this shiba pitching in to the cause. :)
Jedi Academy Training: Nothing new but I do have a few more students. :D I want to build up our Jedi Academy skills. No minimum skill required. I will teach you if you are completely new to the game, and I will teach you if you have already played for a while. The only request I have is that you have fun and put some effort into trying to improve yourself. I can do the rest. Currently I do this adhoc, so reach out to me if you want to take advantage of this opportunity.
- FUTURE Plans: Group training sessions.
Getting to know everyone’s Character!: This started out as something I wanted to do to understand everyone’s character, but it has turned into a useful tool for everyone. How does this work? I post a question that makes you think about your character in the Clan chat and pin it for easy access so it stays at the top of the window. Everyone answers the questions, some of which require knowledge of other characters, and I record them in a spreadsheet for everyone to view. This helps everyone out. Check out the current answers so far here.
- FUTURE Plans: More questions for now, but eventually you’ll need to use this for some team competitions I have in mind. Why? I want to get everyone more comfortable writing each other’s characters and working together. TEAMWORK.
Upcoming
- Zirael: This is dependent on the New Jedi Praexum Development. This has been put on the backburner until the Jedi Praxeum finishes up as much of that project will inform this one. Until then, this will be continued to be maintained as usual. Be patient on this one.
Member Spotlight
We do so much more than just the numbers that are tracked on the website. We are a community and I’d like to take this time to show off some awesome things we’ve done as a Clan that don’t quite fit anywhere else. I’m actively looking at how to improve this section moving forward. If you have any ideas, feel free to share them with me! Until then, thank you for your contributions!!

The Admiral's Airlock'd Disp-pie-roval Ice Slice by Jasper --- Cut with military precision, this slice features a unique brown to golden-blonde crust, perfectly portioned, no nonsense toppings of black olives and mushrooms with light sauce and cheese. The secret ingredients, you ask? Why the Tears of Insubordinates and their crushed Hopes and Dreams, of course! The entire slice is served frozen in a block of ice, because sometimes we can’t have nice things easily. Ice pick sold separately.

Alethia Citrus Sundae by Korroth --- Blue Bantha ice cream with citrus fruit, lime sauce and space waffle. Served in a chilled cup so the ice cream doesn't melt.
Alethia’s cream cake and whiskey by Mako --- Red velvet cake with a light blue icing glaze topped with a dollop of fresh whipped cream and served with 3 shots of Corellian whiskey. Aptly named for Alethia.
Turel Sorenn by Nijalah --- Chocolate Magnum ice cream
Edgar Bourbon Sunday by Mos/Tisto --- It has two scoops of ice cream, one strawberry one banana (based on his light saber colors) with a chocolate bourbon fudge sauce due to his telegram love of bourbon. :P
The Drachen by Junazee --- Special recipe cheesecake that looks ordinary, it is sweet but also has a little spice within it to match is personality. He is also a nut, so have to include the some nuts on there. Other toppings blueberry, strawberry and caramel for the the cough sweetness and then the tart. xD

Knights and Equites
Your journey doesn’t end at Knight, so therefore neither does my assistance. First and foremost, I want all Knights and above to know that if you have a question or if you need anything, then feel free to reach out to me. I am here to help. Second, from time to time there are projects to work on, which will help you either reach Equite or advance further in the Equite ranks. So keep that in mind.
Alright, April’s advice. This month I’d like to address the following question: “I want to get to Equite 1. How do get past Knight?”. I remember when I was a Knight. Sometimes you might feel like it’s impossible but really it’s quite easy. A few things will get you there really easy. Short answer is to be active and continue to do what you love to do. Do competitions, hang out with everyone. Enjoy the freedom that Knight gives you! Past that, I encourage every Knight to take on some leadership roles. They could include, but not limited to, becoming a Master to a Student, helping out in Clan projects, and trying out for leadership positions! There just happens to be a Quaestor position open in House Satele Shan right now… If you do the above, you’ll get there quickly. ^^

Conclusion
This last month was great for the Clan. Projects have kicked off, new members have joined, and I am loving the activity as of late. Keep it up! Looking forward, continue to have fun and be awesome. One request: I’d ask that everyone try to stay on top of the character questions. In a few questions, I'll start to ask some harder ones and it will really help everyone if you share information on your character. I also encourage everyone to share their art and fiction in the Clan chat. It helps pull everyone together and celebrates the Odan-Urr family. Have fun everyone! ^^
