I want to take a moment to recognize the fantastic applicants and applications I received for the Proconsul position of Scholae Palatinae. I've spoken with all three applicants and gained a deeper appreciation of their talents and insights into both Scholae Palatinae and the Brotherhood as a whole.

This was a tough decision. After due consideration I've elected to elevate Major Raleien Sonavarret to the position of Proconsul.

Raleien has made a significant contribution to Scholae Palatinae this year both as an individual contributor and as a leader. His ability to engage and motivate the members of Scholae Palatinae has been awe inspiring to watch. Please join me in wishing him well in his new position.

With my Major Raleien Sonavarret appointment this leaves the position of Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco in need of being filled.

In addition, Battlelord Dek Iron'yikut has shared with me his desire to step down as Quaestor of Caliburnus. Dek has been a long-time Quaestor within Scholae Palatinae serving for greater than 2 years overall. Dek has shared his draft of the plot points for the Dark Times Saga and will still partner with the Summit on bringing that story arc to a close in Q1, 2022.

I'll be soliciting applications for both Quaestor roles from Thursday 11/04/2021 through Thursday 11/11/2021.

Applicants should email me and Raleien their application. Below are a few topics, but not an exhaustive list, of items I'd be curious about within an applicants submission.

• Short-term goals (e.g. week one, first month, first three months) and long-term goals (six months to one year).
  
• Recruitment - goals and avenues of engagement
  
• Competitions/Story - We are building story-groups to help co-author fiction and direction to ensure everyone is invested. What type of competitions are you seeking to run and how will you enable these as a method of furthering the House identity?
  

We have not set a minimum rank requirement. However, those under the rank of JM4 may need to provide additional leadership experience to support their applications.
