BEHOLD! THE UNIVERSAL REMONSTER!

Hello! Sorry this report is later than I anticipated. I’ve been putting in a lot of work in to get our new summit up to speed. Also, I'm trying to reach Elder as fast as I can, so that’s occupied some of my attention. I figured that since ProBowl is upon us now, I needed to get a report out. So…Here we go!

Who is Rayne?

Good question! I'll break it down for you a little bit. If you'd like to know more, just ask.

Personal:
Back in 2007, I started off in Arcona but I moved shortly to Plagueis to be with a real life friend of mine who advertised this place on his Myspace page. After awhile as a complete newbie there, I got acquainted with many members in Scholae Palatinae and transferred there, to which I've made a home. I left to open House Revan but soon returned to CSP and I've stayed ever since. I care alot about CSP and the members inside and outside the Clan. I love to have fun and to connect with people. I also know when it’s time to be serious and when to make a stand for myself or my Clan.

I've mainly been a gamer and a leader throughout my time in the DJB. I was a part of the Fist staff raid group on SWTOR under Fremoc's time when it came out in 2010. My main was a Sith Healer in the DJB guild on Star Forge server. The group eventually grew apart as life got busy which happens to nearly every gamer group out there. I haven't played in a couple years now, but some of the best times were because of SWTOR. Eventually, I returned to the DB and found a partner in crime to play BF2 put up impressive numbers once again on the gaming leaderboard. Needless to say, I'm a gamer. I'm highly selective about what games I'll spend time and money on, but I do play and I enjoy it.

Character Background:
Rayne started off as a straight-up rip of the main character from an old game on Gamecube called BloodRayne that quickly became my favorite game to play. I thought playing a badass, sultry, half-vampire with a knack for infiltration and an executioner was a fun character to play. I began expanding and evolving her into something more unique as time went on. I found the Firrerreo species on a dive into Wookieepedia while trying to find a different race to play other than human. Near-human and long-lived is what I was looking for because I wanted her to be alive before the formation of the Empire. The Nightsisters stories from the EU also played a part in shaping her into a shadow agent in various skills of stealth. That's where she learned how to harness the Dark Side in her journey. Her past is long but this is the TL;DR version.

In character:
Rayne has been called a "Sith Witch" for good reason. She has mastered the power of the elements through the Force, particularly fire, through extensive study and practice. She can be beautifully chaotic at times but not without care. There's a method to her madness. Because of her Firrerreo origins, she has fangs, claws, and feral tendencies which surface at times. Rayne rarely reveals her real name, as is tradition for her species. She has the whole vampiress aesthetic for the most part. She is returning to her Nightsister roots as Sith Empress, engaging in the practice of reviving the dead, just as she did when she was a member of her coven. This iteration of my character is inspired by World of Warcraft's Sylvanas Windrunner, Legion-era. Deanna Troi from Star Trek:TNG and Yennefer from The Witcher also draw similarities to why Rayne is the way she is.

What’s new for CSP?

Well, As you may be aware, I’ve selected Korvis to be my PCON and I could not have asked for anyone better for the role. Korvis has a ton of experience and knowledge. He’s already proved to be a great addition to the team. The QUAs will remain the same with Nefarious "NeMo" Moniker taking on House Acclivis Draco and Vincent Brujah handling House Caliburnus. We’ve got a great leadership team assembled and I’m excited to see what this chapter of the Clan will look like.

The Palpatines brought a new (old) Palpatine into the fold. Check out the post from Thran. You should read it, because it does have some relevance to our ongoing Clan storyline. Think of it as Chapter 2.5. Welcome back, Xen! We love you!

Speaking of our ongoing storyline, Thran and I were working on Chapter 3 of Clan storyline with the Chiss before he bailed to go be Regent. (That man will do anything for a dollar). The Summit has decided that we are going to continue with the plot line that we worked up. There was a lot of positive feedback on the first two portions, so we’d love to continue to give you the opportunities to get involved. Like Thran did before me, I hope to find ways to involve all of your characters in the overall story to help you be involved. We will continue with this after the ProBowl. Stay tuned as we see what unfolds.

Summer is nearing its end and spooky season is upon us. As a kickoff to the best time of the year, the annual Plagueis Pro-Bowl has just begun! Here’s some more details:

Pro-Bowl

For those of you who are not familiar with it, the ProBowl event is a Two-Team event, where members are drafted, put into teams, and participate in a slew of fun (mostly simple) competitions in order to drive their teams to victory.

It is a great opportunity to get some solid XP and Credits! Especially since this year, the Probowl will feature Novae for the winners! Usually reserved for Vendetta events, Novae are worth alot more than just your standard crescents.

The Two Teams are the Frog-Dogs and the Rotworms.

Each Clan elects a captain for each team. Our captains are Nemo and Vincent. This year will be a showdown of the QUAs.

Beyond a chance to mingle with the other Clans and have some fun, Pro-Bowl also grants exclusive bragging rights.

The Future of CSP

I have alot to say on this, but for now I’m going to keep it pretty simple.

Thran and I developed a plan when I was PCON. My plan is mostly to stick to that plan. I intend to continue to bring you engaging and deep stories, keep our community alive and having fun, and grow our fictional depth.

I’m not going to go to much further into this right now. I’ll lay out some more concrete plans in my next Report. For now, get out there and enjoy the Pro-Bowl!

Conclusion

That’s pretty much it for the time being. Becoming Consul has been a long term goal of mine, and to be honest it is a little scary! I want to make sure that I deliver the best that I can for CSP. Fortunately, I have a number of people I can rely on. Thran, Korvis, the active Palpatines, the other Consuls, the DC (all of them) and more. We’ve got alot of work ahead, but I’m ready to take on this challenge.
