Riding on the wave of their success against Collective forces, Scholae Palatinae turn their attention homeward - to Ragnath. The Scholae Empire’s arrival had been a shock to the political landscape of the Caperion System, the lightning in the storm. In rapid succession they had sided with the Democratic Republic of Elaya in their war against the expansionist Meraxis Empire, taken Caelestis City as their capital and now, they sought to expand their control over the moon. Meanwhile, Meraxis established a military alliance with the one group that hated Scholae as much as they did - The Collective.

Welcome to the CSP Clan Summit report for the month February 2018, co-written by myself and Raiju! This report will announce a new clan story event for March where we really start to kick forward with our conquest of the Caperion System, and also announce results of the BT Cup!

CSP News

Welcome to Expansion, the CSP event for March 2018! We have a great variety of competitions for this one, including fiction, art, gaming, and bt-level run-ons! We’re hoping to bring a lot more player characters into this fiction once the war actually breaks out! I had some interesting responses to my recent telegram call for ideas, and these will be included in the mid-event fiction update! The event itself has fiction, graphics, a cluster race, among other light competitions like flash games and wiki hunts! I’d like to draw everyone’s attention to the run-on event we have running in this event. These run-ons will be battleteam based, with each bt working to secure an objective in the same area. The events happening in one team may affect the other run-ons. This will also be one of the main events used to drive the clan story forwards, as it’s one coherent story that everyone can contribute to. House summits can choose which team they’d like to be a part of!

Conflict in Caperion / BT Cup

Results of the BT cup are in! As a reminder, this cup was a side event where we scored each BT for general site activity. Highest individual member scoring was Derek of Tacitus Athanasius, with 60 points! Second standout performer was Jorm of Vindictae Immortalis, with 50. Standings below:

Massive congratulations to our newest team, Vindictae Immortalis, for taking home the BT cup!

Also, a massive thanks to those who participated in Conflict in Caperion. Dek takes home the ruby crescent for this event for a series of excellent, creative entries that will really add to the clan lore. This includes Maqor Border Crossing 17, an ACC venue on the border between Caelestis and Maqor, a very well organised and justified economy, and some creative ideas for the structure of the intelligence.

Jorm was a close second, having also participated in every event, and wins graphics with a photomanipulation attempt, setting our headquarters in ‘Adoniram Tower’. I kind of like the slap in the face it gives our enemy that we took a tower named after him, repurposed it as our HQ and never bothered to rename it :)

Mako also entered most of the events, taking third, and put in some great ideas which we will integrate with the others, and Raiju took the creative step of writing Money Money Money as a discussion with his advisor. These competitions were never a winner takes all type deal, and we look to combine ideas from all participants as we revamp our fictional presence on Caperion.
