Welcome to this month’s Consul report! Let’s get to it!

News

First off, we have a transitioning of power taking place within the Dark Brotherhood. After his time of service, Grand Master Telaris “Mav” Cantor will be stepping down from the Iron Throne. Expected to take his place will be one of our very own, Evant Taelyan! I have had the privilege to know and work with Evant during my time in the Brotherhood, and I am not lying when I say I am looking forward to seeing him becoming the new Grand Master. While the voting process is still taking place, Evant is taking and answering questions from everyone. Some of you shared some questions with me that have already been addressed in the google doc link Evant has shared and updated on his latest report. I encourage everyone to read this report and to take a look at the Q&A responses. Thank you, Mav, for your leadership and for all you've done. Drinks on you, sir.

Second, we have the new CSP clan event currently being held by Dek! He also released a fictional update found here . It is a three-week long event with week one currently running with six days left! There are also two event-long competitions for you to take part in. I encourage everyone to take part in this event as CSP takes on TRF. I also encourage everyone to take a look at the Dark Time Saga Wiki that Dek took the time to put together to help everyone stay caught up with the Clan’s current storyline. This link is also found in the fictional update.

Last, but not least, I’d like to welcome back Talon Jade to the clan! As always, it’s an honor to have clan veterans return to us, and I look forward to seeing what he does.

Announcements/Reminders

• Dek is running the newest Dark Time Saga Event Operation Passion Force. Make sure to tackle week one’s competitions!
  
• Xendar is running the comp: The Cupid's Arrow of Star Wars with seven days left to participate!
  
• SARLACC’s round two is currently in progress, and has been extended to March 7th due people possibly losing power during the recent arctic blast in the USA. I encourage everyone to take part in this. SARLACC
  

Conclusion

Like Mauro touched on in his latest report, which can be found here, activity within the clan has spiked like crazy! There was a lot of participation in Mauro’s CSP Celebration event, and we had a few members taking part in SARLACC. Gaming activity has also skyrocketed, with clusters of earth and fire being received in high amounts. This has been absolutely fantastic to watch, as I’m sure the rest of the Summit would agree. It’s been a great way to start off the new year after the rough year now behind us, and it brings me great joy seeing how far we are progressing as an amazing clan! With this, we’re hoping to continue providing more opportunities to everyone for participation and growth, and we encourage you to provide ideas and input of your own.

With that said, I am hoping to have a special announcement out to you soon. We are also working towards having a Trivia night as well as gaming nights for certain games. On top of that, we are working towards a time where we can prepare for the next GJW event by focusing on some areas new to our newest members as well as areas where we’ve struggled in the previous vendetta events.
