Valkish stepped out from the Galeres Summit chambers. A small grin crossed his face as he headed down the dark corridors to the cantina. Activating his communicator he called Saskia “ Sergeant, meet me in the cantina, we have a new mandate.” Entering the Arcona cantina, Valkish grabbed a booth at the back and sat downm awaiting the arrival of Saskia. After about fifteen minutes passed, while reviewing the documents Cethgus had given to him, Saskia approached the table. “Reporting as ordered, what's going on Valk?” “Have a seat Sas, we have a new mandate. From this point on Dark Forge will now be an Elite Assassination squad. We are to be Galeres silent kill team. We are the end all to solving any problem for the house now.” Grinning at his Sergeant, Valkish knew this was going to be one hell of an adventure.

“When we don’t have a contract from the House, we are free to keep our skills sharp, so that mean private contracts. Inform the crew, we will need to refit the Darkest Night for the new operations. Have all hands report to the ship, we move out in twenty four hours.”

Promotions

Our very own Donblas reached the Rank of Guardian and is well on his way to Jedi Hunter. Congrats to Don. Keep up the great work.

Also to note and recognize, Saskia was named our BTS. Congrats go out to her as well.

Awards

Ood was awarded 4 clusters of fire and a Seal of Loyalty. Way to go Ood!

Donblas has been a beast as of late. He has been awarded 42 clusters of fire, 1 pendant of blood, has reached the fifth rank in the GMRG,he has also passed the TOR Advanced exam with a score of 100%, and has moved up to the second rank in the SA. Outstanding job Don, keep it up.

Competitions and the Crusade

The Blow off some Steam comp is still running til May 12th. It is a simple browser game. When you are done blasting droids, just snap a screenshot before the timer runs out and submit it. The DC event Fading Light is approaching. It will be based on the ACC, so if you have not already qualified, head to the SA and get after it. We need to have a strong showing when is starts. Lets prove to everyone that we are a force to be reckoned with. As far as more team competitions, when the DC comes to a close I will be throwing more of them out there for all of you. There will be a variety to suit all tastes, so don’t worry.

Closing Thoughts

I know all of you have been insanely busy with RL, I am no exception to that. When things get tough or I am stressed I look to the DB. It gives me time to unwind and escape a little. We are a team. All of us, we have our own google group email. It is there for all of you. Use it for a sounding board, a way to vent, hell anything you want. We are all here for each other. I have made some great friendships here in the DB. I sent out a mandatory ROLL CALL email through the gmail. I’m not asking for a full bio from you all. Just want know you are out there. As I have said before, I have a very open door policy. You can come to me with anything. My email turnaround is wickedly fast, unless i'm passed out asleep, but I always check my email constantly. Alright, i think I’ve made a big enough wall of text here.

Fading Light is coming up in about 2 weeks, so go qualify for the ACC and then we can kick some ass when it goes live.
